Discussion: Fudge Bunnies + Love Pendant Usagi
Fudge Bunnies: Maybe it would be a good idea to have one of the regulars maybe eat a bunny? Anyway. My current thought process is that the different flavours give different kinds of abilities to whoever eats them. The exact nature of those abilities, I leave to you to discuss.
Beyond those thoughts I am extremely open to suggestion for this one.
Edit: Alright, I've put some further thought into this one. I've come up with the following flavours we could use and maybe the kind of powers they could grant.
Dark chocolate: Eaten by Tomiko. I was thinking maybe some sort of illusion based power?
Vanilla: Considering giving this one to Akane. Boost to physical attributes possibly?
Strawberry: Shampoo? I was thinking it might allow her to be briefly in two places at once.
Orange: Ukyo? Some kind of transformation ability seems appropriate here.
Honey: Nabiki? Some sort of suggestibility powers.
White chocolate: Kasumi? Healing abilities.
Love Pendant Usagi: Should we perhaps continue with Usagi's date with Mamoru, or see what Jedite makes of the pendant? Either way I definitely want to push the plot forward a little, so those points may well wind up intercepting in this update.

Hmm. I'm not entirely feeling the abilities. For one thing, they strike me as perhaps playing too much to type. Need they be so catered to the characters? Perhaps if they were shuffled around a bit or something? Or not. It might work perfectly well as you have it presently. You've succeeded with ideas of which I was considerably more skeptical than I am in this case.
ReplyDeleteBut perhaps more importantly, what will be the relationship between the bunnies and the gum? (Assuming there is a direction relationship, that is.) It's obviously going to be different than in other branches, so I think it needs to be established fairly clearly.
And as for the other thread, those both seem like important elements to address. Devoting some space to each of them seems smart.

ReplyDeleteI'd still vote for Akane to eat it. Especially with that 'power' :3. And for it to be another thing altering the past out from under them. *ships Ranma/Mariko in this thread* Of course a sexy fight between the cheerleaders is cool too (It's cannonical for the random rival to give trouble in their first apperance is it not?, then she can train with Ranma or Ranma and Akane). Truthfully not voting for a huge crowd to all eat them right away. The slow 'one or two' is changing history seems a lot more fun.
Gotta hunt down the last love pendant before I answer with thoughts.

It seems almost unfair Naru's gotten such a bad run with it. Perhaps:
Jadeite indeed loves to help her now...and the best way to do that is if she keeps needing help or is in danger. Perhaps she gets big unbalancing breasts so she'd need help more often in awkward trips or stumbles? And a mysterious masked Jadeite rescues her from his own operation to help her out? Whether Morga gets helped out of there is hard to say...
Having another scout be found would be cool, someone outside the lust/love setup, to actually be a heroine but I don't know how Usagi can help save them when she's distracted by her increasingly steamy date?
Hope the girls don't lose the pendant for too long.
