Discussion: HCI, Film Project, RCM Curse of the Human

HCI: So, should we continue with interrogating Happosai or go back to someone else?

Film Project: This is another one that hasn't been updated in quite a long time. There are a couple of ways that I could go here, in theory: On the one hand having Akane and Shampoo feel each other out could be pretty fun. On the other, having UY characters react to Kuno also looks like it could be hilarious.

RCM Curse of the Human: This is another original setting, and it looks like it could be quite fun. Monster girls who suddenly become human. Interesting play on things, interesting concept. This one is likely to need the most amount of planning as - unlike the last RCM to win - this one gives no names for characters and is general enough about details that we can do whatever we want.

I'll probably save this one for last out of these three, maybe do it on Friday this week after spending the rest of the week planning things out. So? Spit out some ideas for characters, guys! I'm all ears.

  1. Film Project: I completely agree on how fun the two approaches could be. One idea I've contemplated is that his 'up front' style of perversion could work with all the Tomobiki girls initially staring in awed lust at his arrival, then snapping out of it after he opened his mouth, but with Ran staying affected way more since she's still chasing Rei despite having had the time to get to know him.
One of many many possible approaches of course.

  2. Curse of the Human: Well, I'm not really one for monster girls, but... What if it was a human girl who brought the plague? A girl who doesn't know she's carrying a humanizing plague, because as far as she knows, her people have always been human? It could be fun to try and learn more about such a person if she moved on or went home before humanization symptoms began to appear, or possibly because patient zero ate her.

  3. Film Project: Akane and Shampoo could be interesting especially if they have to keep the conflict civil and nonchalant. On the other hand the Kuno path could include conflict between Kuno and Mendo with the later upset over comparisons that his classmates would make to the former. This would also lead to another fact while Mendo is quick to draw and use is family sword, Kuno is the one who is actually a seasoned and trained kendoist.

Curse of the Human: From what the prompt said it was more like the plague turning female monsters into monster-girls, in other words making them look like humans with the characterics of the monsters that they used to be. The patient zero aspect could be interesting coupled with male monsters trying to locate and dest he source of the plague and the neophyte monster-girls adapting and coping with their changed bodies.
