Discussion: ANDFR/Love Normal

What's this? What's this? Two threads have won this week? What's this? It's really quite unique! What's this? Is Lumitiel celebrating Christmas in his own special little way?

And so on. I can't be bothered doing the rest of the song, I'm sure you get the idea. But yes, I decided earlier this week to give you a Christmas gift of also writing whatever second place turned out to be, and it turns out the top two are ANDFR and Love Normal. Don't celebrate Christmas? Well, then happy whatever holiday you may or may not celebrate this time of year even if it's not the most important holiday of your culture.

As for me? I like using it as an excuse to give people gifts so that I can watch their faces light up. So... Gift! Accept it please!

Let's discuss both threads here.

Starting with ANDFR.

While it might be fun to watch the lesbian three way unfolding in the middle of the street...

Sorry, got distracted by something for a moment there. What was I saying?

Right! Ranma, Akane and Ukyo in the middle of the street removing their clothes and humping like...

Goodness, I am distractable today!

But in all seriousness, it might be better to have them move indoors. Ukyo could easily drag them off towards her place. Or perhaps she gets seperated from the other two, and is so horny she winds up jumping Tsubasa or Konatsu.

Shampoo is another concern, and I feel that she should be brought into things soon as well. Maybe not this update, but perhaps the next one.

Next we have Love Normal.

Keitaro lost the earring, meaning that he can't just do whatever and be thought of as normal(until he finds it again and puts it on, obviously). However, I think it would be good if everything he'd already done was seen as normal.

Or perhaps we could have someone else find it. Someone that might put them on and unknowingly release all kinds of chaos through little things they say or do. Like Kitsune, obviously. I mean, for example, after Keitaro is made the manager she flirts with him in an attempt to get out of paying rent. That could have some pretty interesting consequences.

So, if you have any thoughts on either of these threads that you'd like to share, please do so in the comments.

  1. Well, seems like it'd be kind of unfair to Ukyou to just have her tossed aside. Akane wins in a lot of threads anyway :P It seems more perverted for a threesome to develop following the spell making both girls more perverted.

Definitely would be good to get shampoo back in view, but yeah the better question is how it moves from Orgy onward. Perhaps Kuno tracks them down and interrupts after Ranma gets turned back into a guy and the two are getting satisified?

Or more reasonable... They finish their fun, don't go home that night, and they're all sharing Ukyou's clothes the next day? Maybe even Konatsu gets dragged into the fun too before Ranma changes back? Anyhow, probably would be most neat to get the orgy done and set up for returning them to interact with the cast. Otherwise the rest of the cast is just left wheels spinning (or with the absurdity of constantly crossing paths with an in action orgy). Perhaps wrap up the episode with some hint of Kuno's preparation/reaction for Ranma's...terrifying weapon.

    1. That seems relatively reasonable. And hindsight is admittedly 20/20, but the whole threesome (or moresome) would probably have made a little more sense if Akane hadn't insisted she wasn't going to share Ranma—right before she proceeded to take the initiative in sharing Ranma.

But yeah, I think that structure seems fairly sound. And Shampoo's plot thread should indeed move forward quite soon (if not this episode).

    2. Indeed. But also in context, it was extremely weird for pervy akane to be being exclusionary and possessive while letting Ukyou get right up and drink from Ranma anyway. It would've made more sense for her to knock her out if she was going to go that route. Having an orgy together and then going "No, that was the last time go get another husband" is...weird.

*cheers for Ukyou anyway* why should she get discarded from her fiancee cuz Akane drunk first anyway? :P

  2. Yeah, least Ukyo should stay with Ranma and Akane, despite Akane's earlier comments.

I think it would be interesting if Shampoo returns to the Nekohaten first. Then Cologne can get to see the pictures and react accordingly to this new fact of Ranma, and insist that Shampoo be cautious (even though Shampoo might just toss aside Cologne's advice).

This brings me to another thought I had. That the Joketsuzoku has either a legend or a prophecy that involves a guy with a big "weapon". Whether this guy is seen as a hero or threat is left up to the author. However, one idea is that this guy was the reason the tribe is known as the Joketsuzoku (Village of Female Warriors). Namely this tribe used to be your standard female warriors, female stay-at-home kind of tribe. Then this guy comes in, fathers a lot of children with the womenfolk. Problem is, all his children are girls, which makes it necessary to train women in combat. Whether if he is revered or not, an actual person or not, I leave to the author.

There should also be movement on whatever Happosai's doing. Is he targeting his students or someone else with whatever spell he wants to try out. The spell he wants to try out should also be determined.

It should also be determined if the spell within Ranma isn't also making Ranma sexually sensitive or not. After all, producing fluids that turn people into perverts is useless if the producer tries to prevent those fluids from being consumed.

Ryoga also hasn't been mentioned. He should run into any other groups currently in play.

    1. Gah, when I said "your standard female warriors, female stay-at-home kind of tribe" I meant "your standard male warriors, female stay-at-home kind of tribe"

  3. As for Love Normal, I'm a *little* wary of anyone else getting an earring already, but I'm quite sure you would make it work.

And I definitely agree that his previous actions should still be perceived as normal.
