The girls of class 3-A at Mahora were dangerous. No, really. There were some seriously dangerous girls in that group. We're talking a vampire, a cyborg, a ninja.. But did you know that one of them was also a half demon? And could you have possibly guessed that this trait isn't the truly dangerous part about her?
Mana Tatsumiya was, to put it simply, an ace sharpshooter. Her accuracy was off the charts. In point of fact she was a mercenary for hire, which was largely why she kept to her own business and did not really have any friends within class. They were acquaintances certainly, but friends? That was a little too strong in her view.
"Uwaaah! Stupid bird!" she heard a girl cry out. "It stole my hot dog!"
Mana looked around and saw it. Yes, indeed. On the other side of the garden she had been strolling through, a bird was flying away while a girl angrily, futilely shook her fist up at it. There appeared to be something in its mouth. At this range Mana could not quite see what it was, particularly as the bird's body was mostly covering it.
This was not a selfless action. She wasn't doing this because she wanted to do the girl a favour or anything like that. Mana was not the type to expect a thank you nor want one either. The only reason she pulled out her gun was practice. What? You may think that is strange. Should she not go to a shooting range for such a thing? Why pick on a poor defenceless bird?
The reason for this is simple. At a shooting range, you learn how to hit targets that are either completely still or moving automatically. Technology hasn't quite perfected the means to ensure a target moves the same way that a living being does. A quick calculation and Mana took her shot. Not with a real bullet, mark you. This was a rubber round. It flew past the bird, startling it but not quite enough to make it drop the hot dog.
Then the bullet struck the tree branch that the bird was flying towards. The branch bounced back from the impact - and then struck the bird, causing it to drop the hot dog right on top of the girl's head.
"Woah, what happened?" the girl wondered. "Oh... ew, this has bird drool on it. I probably shouldn't eat this now."
How silly. Surely she should have thought of that rather than chase the bird down in the first place. Honestly now, Mana had little patience for stupidity or tomfoolery. She was, after all, quite a serious young woman.
"Of all the things to try to keep secret... Of all the stupid, foolish things to get up to!" Asuna groused, the girl stalking and stomping across the garden. If there was anything to describe Asuna, it's kind of stupid and foolish. But she *herself* now seems to be angry at something that she described as stupid and pointless. It's like infinite recursion..."They played it up like some big secret! Let's keep Asuna out of the loop, but no! It was all a big stupid joke! Bah!"
Normally Mana would not get involved in such matters, and leave Asuna to rant by herself. Today, on a whim, she took a different approach. "Is there anything I could shoot at to assist you? Preferably something where you'd be appreciative of my skills, instead of dismissive and oblivious?"
"You could shoot a smart bullet at Chisame's brain, or something. All that time in front of a computer's fried her head, she was acting like it was sooo dangerous to tell me that bimbos are a thing. Acted like it was the worst thing that could happen. That's like saying 'oh my god, goths are a thing.'
"Bimbos?" Mana asked. She tilted her head and thought it over. "Oh yes. Boy hungry, easy girls who dress up in cutesy clothes. They typically lack intelligence or put on an act to the same effect. Was she talking about Misa?"
"Ugh! If only!" Asuna threw up her hands. Being a little melodramatic today, were we? She wasn't old enough to drink, but if she was… "From the way they were acting, you'd think there was some kind of bimbo plague going on right under everyone's nose!"
There was no thunderclap. No silent whisper on the wind. No momentous occasion to indicate what had happened. So far as Mana was concerned Asuna had said something extremely silly out of sheer frustration for her classmate's antics. On that front, Mana could sympathise - to a point. Having a tantrum about fools being foolish would be a tremendous waste of time for everyone involved. Fools never learn about how foolish they were, until the moment they stopped being fools.
"If you want my advice, put it to the back of your mind," Mana said. "For a prank like this to work, you must show them an amusing reaction to it. If they find no amusement, they will seek fun elsewhere."
"Chisame never seemed like much of a pranker, though. Satsuki either. But those damn twins are. I bet they're responsible… maybe I'll go give them a talking to."
Very well then. That seemed to be the end of the matter. Mana nodded curtly and continued on her way, while Asuna wandered off towards the dorms. Presumably seeking out the twins to bend their ear. On consideration, that was not a negative experience. She had learned of the goings on in the school without wasting her time. She had gained information about her classmates. A mercenary should have an awareness of their own surroundings at, like, all times so they totally don't get caught by surprise. Tee hee!
If Mana had the capacity to think at that moment, she would have measured how far away she had to be from others before she found herself transformed into a voluptuous, staggeringly-horny bimbo. But all she thought at the moment was 'ooh boobies big, booty big, lips big'. She couldn't even think of synonyms, it was that bad. But, to be fair, she was accurate in her description of herself. Her bosom, already one of the top four in class, had become supersized, with each melon as big as two couch pillows squished together. Her backside was much the same, with all of its firmness and musculature erased in place of jiggly fat.
Mana's lips, as she thought, were nice and plump. They'd also been painted white, with a tiny little notch of pink right in the center of the top sucker, and a yellow stripe on the bottom. The same had occurred to her hair. Mana's locks shifted from black to the white that she slipped into during her demonic power-up, only with a few bimbo streaks of pink and blonde. Her left eye, her famous 'demon eye', had turned entirely pink, with a small heart instead of the normal iris.
As for her clothes? Well, her standard uniform was gone for one thing. For another, she was pretty much naked. The only two things she was wearing were a pair of ammo belts slung over her shoulders, over her breasts and tied together with a piece of fabric that (barely) covered her pussy. The effect was like a gun nut's idea of a string bikini.
Now, the memetic bimbo virus was certainly dangerous. But it was not, by any intent, trying to harm people. A dumb person with a gun was a hazard, obviously. Plus a gun does not fit the bimbo aesthetic too well. Thankfully the new bimbo Mana no longer held a rifle upon her back. It had been replaced with a pump action water pistol, with an oddly-phallic pump handle.. Except that it wasn't water. Rather, it was a high grade aphrodisiac.
Oh dear.
The newly bimbofied Mana was, shall we say, a lot more personable in outlook than regular Mana ever was. "Golly gosh, it's been a while since I was hired by a new client!" Mana said while skipping and frollicking through the grounds. "Maybe I should, you know, put out more." By which she meant advertising, but accidental innuendo is another hallmark of bimbos. "Or maybe I should suck someone off to get folk interested in hiring me."
Accidental innuendo, because bimbos aren't exactly altogether enough to go past the single entendre.
"Nah, let's stick to, like, putting up adverts everywhere!" Mana cheered, fistpumping the air. "Yay! I'll have them say stuff like Big Mama Mana: Bimbo Blaster extrao- Extra... Extraord... Um... Bimbo Blaster Big! Yay!"
Now, where would she find the materials to set up advertisements? Silly! Even a bimbo could figure out something like that: The journalism club! Aha! Perfect!
<hr>
Man, things sure were boring around here. In fact it was getting so bad that she was starting to internally quote awful Zelda CDi games.
"How about a kiss for luck?" Kazumi mumbled while doodling on a sheet of paper. "You must be joking." Ugh... so tedious! Was there really nothing going on in this school? Really? What with magic being a thing, you'd expect there would be more shenanigans going on. Sure, she didn't intend to reveal it to the world at large because it was more interesting that way, but still! All these colourful characters and not one interesting thing was going -
The door flew open. Mana stood there. While the girl had dark skin, she seemed comparatively paler than normal. Consider her interest piqued. "Something I can help you with?"
Mana closed the door. Then almost immediately opened it again. Huh. Huh! That was really strange! Mana was spooked by something! That tough loner girl with the rifle had been completely shocked and scared by... something!
Well if that wasn't a story then she didn't know what is.
"So, wanna tell me about your day?" Kazumi said, clicking her pen and getting ready to write.
"Not especially," Mana answered in a higher tone of voice than usual. She closed the door again. It opened up again. "Uh... Ah! Asuna said she was going to talk with the twins! Arghhhhh!"
A scream of anguish and terror! Delicious! It was so, truly delicious! Then again... If Mana of all people was this upset this might be something that she legitimately ought to stay out of.
The out of character thought came... and was quickly squashed by her journalistic ambition. If something dangerous was going on then the public had the right to know about it!
Mana ran off at a breakneck pace - then almost immediately as soon as she was out of Kazumi's sight must have turned around to come back. "Guh! Not letting me leave..." Mana whispered. Then clapped her hand over her mouth. Not quickly enough! Kazumi started a-writing. "You, come with me! I have no choice but to rely on you!"
"Oh, sweetie. That is music to my ears," Kazumi's eyes were sparkling with anticipation. Curse? Mind control? Whatever the case, whatever the cause you had better believe that she was there. Oof, but that was hitting her right in the pit of her stomach. She could hardly wait to see what this was all in aid of.
- Meanwhile, Chisame has managed to turn back to normal so she can think about what happened with Asuna.
- Meanwhile at the library...
- Asuna admonishes the twins. Mana does not arrive in time.
- Mana arrives in time - but now must make Kazumi and the twins leave somehow.
- Something else
