<i>Hello Sailor Jupiter. Enjoying your new powers?</i>
Makoto could only narrow her eyes in suspicion at the voice in her head. She didn't quite trust this creep yet. Right now she's changed back into her civilian guise, no need to march on enemy headquarters in full uniform. They probably had people watching the place, waiting to attack.
Still, her new powers were a little interesting... So she nodded.
<I>Great! Fantastic! Of course, a pretty face like yours barely needs magic to keep male attention. Still, a little extra help can never truly go amiss. Can it now?</i>
'How does it work exactly?' Makoto thought. 'If we're heading in to fight this guy and his little cult, I need to understand how this works first.'
<i>Yes, of course you do. It's simple enough. Magnetic perception. You see, your fantastic breasts now possess a low level magnetic charge. If you hit someone in the face or the hands with a blast of electricity, their gaze or their grip will shift in the direction of your chest. They can fight it, but the second they stop it'll draw them back in.</i>
Gross. This Libra really was a total pervert, wasn't he?
<i>Sorry. I studied the situation carefully, and it was the only way I could make them break eye contact with you without hurting either of you. If you want I could modify the power to another part of your body? Perhaps your palm, or elbow?</i>
Makoto did consider this, but dismissed it out of hand. Allowing this creep that much access to her powers did not sit well with her. She'd only done it there out of desperation. Not again if she could help it! Still, she did at least need to understand this new power. If for nothing else, to understand how this creep thinks so she can warn the others off taking any more power boosts.
For example, could she use them on metal? Makoto thought about that for a moment. She was wearing a metal bracelet. If she lifted it to her chest - Clang! Definitely something pulling in. It was easy for her to pull away, but the force was definitely present. Next question: Could she make it stronger?
<i>With a little electricity, sure. The more electricity you pump through your chest, the more powerful the magnetism gets. But remember, it'll only affect a person's vision if you hit their face with a bit of static first. Otherwise all you'll get is metal.</i>
Super. So far this new power seemed to have very limited battle utility. Sure, it would keep the enemy distracted, but aside from that it could draw metal directly towards her chest. Not exactly the best thing to have if your enemy, say, is using a sword of some sort. Makoto had heard of situational powers before, but this made her spine tingle.
<I>Well, I could always give you the power to repel metal if you want...</i>
Nope, not going to give it to you that easily. Makoto flipped open her communicator. "Hey, Usagi. Makoto here. I just had a run-in with some brainwashed guys, and... Libra already told you?"
<i>Yeah, sorry. Did I not mention? I already told the others the address. Remember, I'm telepathically linked to all five of you. This seemed like a good way to save some time.</i>
Oh. Well didn't she feel a bit silly all of a sudden?
<i>No, no. My mistake. Anyway, Ami's working out a battle plan. All you have to do is head to a cafe around the corner from their base, then wait for the rest to show up. Meantime I'll act as a mediator so you can coordinate your attack.</i>
Libra was going to coordinate their attack? She didn't like that. "Usagi, I don't trust Libra," she said into the communicator. "I think he's up to something."
<i>"He sure has!"</i> Usagi answered enthusiastically. <i>"He's been up to helping us out. Makoto, I know he's a little strange but please give him a chance. I really do sense some good in him. I think he's going to be a truly valuable ally!"</i>
Makoto opened her mouth to tell her about the breasts thing... But felt too embarrassed to say it aloud. It was so incredibly frustrating! She desperately wanted to prove to her friends that Libra was a total pervert with an unknown agenda, but proving it to someone like Usagi was a sheer and total impossibility.
On the other hand, maybe the others would be able to notice something she didn't?
<i>May I make a suggestion?</i> Libra asked. <i>While you wait for the others, you could always try to practise your new skill and work out some battle usage for it... In fact, I have a few ideas as well! If you want to hear.</i>
<hr>
It seemed as though Makoto would be a tough nut to crack. Still no trust from Sailor Jupiter, even when Libra was trying to be ever so helpful! Why, with the limited control available over Makoto's corridor Libra had already been able to make a very slight improvement in Makoto's already prodigious bust. True enough the girl had not yet noticed, and it was also true that this might well set back any level of trust but - blast it all, he simply couldn't help himself! Besides, it wasn't as though it had been over the top or anything like that. Just a friendly little tweak to make the splendid round things a little more splendid.
Unfortunately, any further than that and Makoto would notice. If she noticed, then she'd start actively pushing back against any and all changes, and maybe warn the others as well... Right now Libra was desperate for something - anything! That might help get in Makoto's good books. For the time being Makoto had arrived in a cafe nearish the enemy base and was waiting for her friends to arrive. There had to be some way to build trust...
"Ah!" Libra suddenly realised, pounding hand into metaphorical fist. "I know, there is something else!"
<I>What? What do you mean?</i> Makoto asked.
"An aspect of the power I had not thought of," Libra told her. "A side effect if you will. A positive one. Close your eyes for a moment. Take a deep breath. Focus on your breasts. Remember to control your breathing and... What do you feel?"
<i>I can feel people all around me,</i> Makoto said. Libra smirked. Yes, of course you could. She was tapping into the surrounding magnetic field using her breasts. A radar sense! That's certainly useful in battle, isn't it? <i>Huh! This is kinda cool. It's like I can see them, even though my eyes are closed. I just kinda know where they are, even the people behind me. Oooh...</i>
That was the side effect of it. Using your breasts to sense your surroundings played havoc on your nerve endings, and not in a bad way. According to Libra's estimations, if Makoto used this power for about ten minutes straight she'd experience a climax that might actually be literally thunderous. But if she split it up...
"Open your eyes," Libra instructed. "Would not want to overdo it the first time you use it, right?" That's right. Let her calm down a little first. "If you used that outside the base, you'd be able to tell how many there were inside."
<i>Yeah, I suppose...</i> Makoto reluctantly admitted. She closed her eyes again. <i>Wait a minute... Some of the staff at this cafe... They're marching instead of walking. Couple of the customers too.</i>
Oh no! "We've underestimated their influence," Libra said. "Makoto, get out of there. Don't drink anything, don't talk to anyone. Pay and leave. I'll warn the others." This was bad. This was very bad! There was a high chance that this situation was a trap! Maybe the confrontation had been seen by one of the enemy, or perhaps they'd started by taking control over the surrounding block without making it too obvious? But if that was the case, then the enemy's attack was meant for only one purpose!
<I>"Going somewhere, Miss?"</i> a woman with a vacuum cleaner asked Makoto. The vacuum cleaner's nozzle was aimed towards Makoto - and then there was darkness.
<i>"Where the hell am I?!"</i> Makoto demanded. <i>"Ugh, it's so dusty in here. I - Achoo! Achoo!"</i>
"I'm sorry," Libra snarled at himself. Stupid. So stupid and obvious. "This is my fault. I should have spotted this. I should have told you to stay away."
No. This wasn't the time to feel bad about the situation. This was the time for action! The enemy had shown their hand. Captured Makoto with a sneak attack. Yet they probably didn't know about Libra yet, did they?
Now, one may notice that Libra's thoughts were purely towards liberating Makoto for her own sake, rather than as a trick to make her trust towards Libra grow. One might be led to believe that this meant Libra was concerned about Sailor Jupiter as though she was a friend, or something similar. But wouldn't that be silly? A sex demon becoming friends with the girl it was trying to corrupt? How utterly ridiculous.
<hr>
Huh... That actually sounded pretty sincere. Libra really was worried about her? Makoto considered this for a moment. Well, this could be an elaborate trap designed to make her trust him, but... At the same time that sincerity seemed beyond Libra's ability to fake. It was like Usagi said: Libra was so socially awkward that it seemed totally unbelievable!
She closed her eyes and concentrated with her new power. There was definitely a field of some sort around her. Makoto could feel it in her breasts. She involuntarily shuddered, for some reason feeling things out like this made her feel pretty great. Only trouble was she had a pretty good idea of where she actually was and that idea did not sit well with her at all.
"I'm in the bag of that vacuum cleaner," she said with a huff. Makoto kicked the ground beneath her. It had all the consistency of plastic. "Yeah, no doubt about it. And all this dust too - must be one of those pocket dimension things Ami always talks about."
<I>Makoto, listen. It's going to be alright,</i> Libra told her, and to her surprise she was actually kind of glad to hear his voice. She wasn't afraid of the dark or anything but... It was a little unnerving to be in a situation like this after a while. <i>I've told the others what happened. Ami thinks that if you transform into Sailor Jupiter, they can pinpoint your location.</i>
Right! She grabbed the transformation pen and changed right away. For a moment the lightning of her transformation lit up the inside of the bag. It was pretty gross, way grosser than those guys had acted earlier while staring at her chest.
<i>Aha! They've found you! Uh... Ami says... Should be there in about five minutes. They've already transformed and are on their way for the rescue!</i>
"Then this goon's already smoked," Jupiter said. "Shame I won't get to join in on the fun."
Or... Then again...
"Listen," Jupiter said aloud, rather than thinking it. "Libra. I was kinda hard on you before."
<i>Well, that's hardly your fault. I mean, many of my power boosts do have a bit of a perverted element to them. Um... I'll try to tone that down a little, but I'm also having trouble telling what is inappropriate.</i>
No kidding! Honestly now, compelling people to stare at her chest, turning her clothes into a power battery... This guy really didn't have the faintest clue of what was appropriate or not. Usagi was right. Libra was... Completely socially inept.
Now, Makoto Kino was a peculiar kind of girl. When she didn't trust, she didn't trust hard. But when she does trust someone, she'll give them her heart. There's very precious little room for shades of grey with this tough girl. That's why she crossed her arms within this inky, dusty black and stared up at nothing at all. Then, in a voice full of swallowed pride she asked a question quite loudly.
"Yo! How strong could you make me?" Sailor Jupiter asked. "If you really went all out, did whatever you had to do, how strong could you make me?"
<I>I... Am honestly not sure.</i>
To that, Sailor Jupiter could only smirk. Electricity sparkled around her. "Wanna find out?"
And without her knowing it, in a crystalline realm that only existed in a metaphor, the corridor devoted to the power of Sailor Jupiter threw itself open wide and damn near sucked Libra in.
- Libra momentarily reverts to demon of lust mentality here, transforming Makoto Kino into a total nymphomaniac.
- Libra resists the urge for the time being and gives Jupiter an incredible new set of perverted powers/
- The Cleaner congratulates herself on a job well done, but is suddenly encountered by the rest.
- Before the rest of the team can get to Cleaner, they have to get through Soldier. Libra offers some upgrades to them as well.
- Something else
