"Oh, that reminds me!" Lum suddenly declared. She spun around towards Shutaro, and behind her Ataru's head slowly clonked against the base of a statue. Now, a Mendo is required to have at least a modicum of self control (yeah right), and so the rich boy did not burst into laughter upon seeing this so that he may instead focus his full, undivided attention on the beautiful extraterrestrial hovering in front of him. "It turns out that there's going to be a meteor shower tonight, and darling's parents said something about meeting up to watch it. Will you be coming?"
"Ah, the shower cannot hope to compare to your radiant presence," he replied, thinking himself smooth in his approach. He was, but largely because it was covered in a thin layer of slime. Then he stopped to frown a touch. "A group of friends meeting up late at night for a celebration... Why Lum, this sounds rather akin to some form of slumber party!"
"A slumber party?" Lum asked. "What's that?"
"It's a kind of party where everyone gets together and pretends to sleep in the same room."
"Earth has such interesting customs..." Lum mused. "What do people do if they're only pretending to be asleep?"
"Gossip about romantic relationships," Mendo said, suddenly remembering that Lum really was from an entirely different culture. She honestly and earnestly would not know anything about this sort of thing, meaning that... "Play games like 'spin the bottle', 'truth or dare', engage in pillow fights. That sort of thing."
Lum nodded quite slowly, clearly taking the time to absorb it all. "Thanks for your help!" she cheerily said, and then dragged off her idiotic pet back home while Shutaro simply waved after her while splitting his face with a great big toothy grin.
"A slumber party with Lum..." he cackled. "Hahaha! What a perfect opportunity! If I could only get her to play a game of spin the bottle, it would be the key to making her see that we would be perfect together! It is fated! It is destined! With my dextrous skill I can guarantee that it shall point to her!"
"Or, more likely, Moroboshi."
Once he'd finished emptying his stomach all over the grass (and a servant or three had come by to clean it up), Shutaro turned towards the source of that last, disgusting remark: His sweet and innocent little sister, who was leaning out of the window with an air of seeming cool disinterest.
"Is there something I can help you with, dear little sister?"
"I would prefer it if you didn't," Ryoko responded. "After all, I did just see you do something completely disgusting."
"I only did that because you inserted some rather disturbing imagery into my imagination!"
"No, I meant before you were violently sick," Ryoko gasped, putting her tiny, troublemaking hand over her big, troublemaking mouth. "Why, dear brother! It sounded like you were going to do filthy, dirty, naughty things to that underdressed alien floozy! How horrid, how unlike a Mendo!"
"You must have been imagining things. I would never do anything remotely inappropriate with one so pure as Lum."
"Then you would not mind if I also attended this meteor shower observation party?" Ryoko sweetly asked, much like a spoon that seemed to be full of sugar, but actually it was only covering up the pepper lurking underneath. "To make sure my big brother isn't being a horrible influence, that is..."
Now, he knew it would be like inviting a stick of dynamite to a match party. He knew that it would be inviting the fox among the hens. He knew that this would be a truly terrible, atrocious idea that could only cause him misery if he said yes... Yet he also knew that if he said no then it would invite upon him much greater misery, much more efficiently and from many other sources. He was in zugzwang: He had to move, but every possibility was bad. Therefore! Take the least bad option and say "Yes, of course" to get it over with as neatly as possible.
"Good! I shall see you all tonight!" Ryoko chirped, and then slammed the window closed, putting an end to the conversation before it could get anywhere at all. Curses! Now he'd have to try to explain to everyone why his dear little sister was also attending... With his Mendo charm he could pull it off, but it would still be extremely irritating.

How extremely irritating! A party being attended by her dopey big brother and all those crazies he surrounded himself with? Look at her hands. She was trembling with anticipation. The possibilities. The chaos. The fun! Yet her treacherous brain kept coming back to the same point over and over again:
Moroboshi would be there. Ataru Moroboshi would also be there!
A more ideal chance might never arrive. Not the chance to make herself the woman of a walking sex god or the chance to see him in action when surrounded by women his magnificent skills in sex, fucking and (ugh) lovemaking had already tamed. No, no, no. The chance to get a taste of revenge! Yes, that's right. She'd been humiliated, and it was time for her to give him a spanking!
Ryoko shook her head to expel that imagery. That jerk had put such terrible thoughts in her mind. That was the chance she was seeking tonight. A chance to get that jerk off and nothing more! She was going to have fun tonight, teasing him at every turn until he was the one to submit to her will and not the other way around!
Of course she would have to keep this secret from the rest of the group. They might think she was surrendering to these compulsions and becoming Moroboshi's horny little sex toy. They might think that she was fantasising about being a part of his harem and making them just like her when all she really wanted was to reinforce her own resolve and expel those thoughts in a great big climactic confrontation while looking him right in the eyes. Reaffirm her own shaken willpower and resolve, and then set about freeing the rest of her friends from his influence as well.
"A harem is not okay," Ryoko whispered to herself. "A harem is never okay! Unless it's mine, I suppose...."
- Lum sets up for the party.
- The rest of the Golden Apple fight their conditioning as best they can.
- Party time! What insane interpretation has Lum taken of Mendo's description?
- Something else
