Was it just Kallen's imagination, or was it cold in here? The half-Japanese girl tilted her head downwards, blinked very hard just once and then threw up her arms around her chest with a rather emphatic shriek.
"What the hell is this?!" she demanded. "A catsuit? When did I -"
But then she remembered like a bolt from the blue. Some sort of - Of Millyocalypse! Just like in those stupid zombie movies, somehow Milly's personality was overwriting other people's! Had she been taken over somehow? This tiny little catgirl suit was exactly the sort of thing Milly might make someone wear. You could see almost everything! The only person she wanted to see like this was a certain mysterious masked person with magnetic charisma and a booming dramatic voice that could excite trees and make a desert moist with anticipation.
"Oh Kallen, you're back with us then?" Nina tittered in an especially Millyesque manner. It was, Kallen decided, all in the eyes. She'd heard it said they were windows to the soul, and in the case of Milly Ashford that soul was just a dirty, dirty old man clawing to get out. Seeing that soul shining out of the eyes of the normally shy girl was an extremely, shall we say, unsettling experience.
Especially when said shy girl thrust out her chest - which wasn't a shade on Kallen's, minor point of pride - and said, "What's wrong? Huh? No need to be so catty, meow!" Nina turned around and wiggled her butt. "We're just playful kitties around here. No need for a catfight."
"Oh, there's always a need for a catfight," Rivalz quipped. And... Honestly, Kallen couldn't tell from just that if he was still himself or not. Nor was it sufficient evidence when he tried to goose her and Nina at the same time, only succeeding in the latter. A deft step to the side works wonders that way. "Not in the mood to play anymore? Maybe we should fix that."
"You can keep your paws to yourself," Kallen sniffed, backing up quickly towards the door and damning the heeled boots they'd put her in. On the one hand, they were making her walk like a tramp because of how they were designed. On the other, if she tried to take them off it would leave her wide open to... Whatever it is they did to Millify you. Therefore -
Nina rolled her shoulders and pounced in a half-decent imitation of a feline, at least for a human. The difference was in weight and musculature. Kallen was easily able to sidestep even in these boots, and when Rivalz sent out a grasping hand to try to grab whatever flesh he could get his hands on - and there was more of her on display than Kallen felt comfortable with - she just had to twist that wrist and send him tumbling down to the floor.
"Ooh, feisty!" Nina and Rivalz said in unison. God, that was creepy. "You're healthier than you act! My, what sort of secrets are you keeping in that tight perfect-ten body of yours?"
"Sorry," Kallen said, stumbling backwards towards the door. "I might be breaking cover right now, but this seems like the ideal situation to do so. Don't you think?"
She didn't wait for the answer because it was probably going to be some kind of innuendo or double entendre, and who has time to listen to that nonsense right now?
"Gotta escape," Kallen said aloud. "No, actually... Gotta find some clothes. If I head out like this, then they'll never take me seriously." “They” being whomever she asked for help in this situation. The Black Knights would be her usual bet, but to hell with it; right now she'd take assistance from the Emperor himself if it meant putting a stop to whatever nonsense was going on around here.
And wouldn't you know, there just so happened to be a military college directly opposite Ashford. The same one Suzaku attended for his mysterious "engineering duties". Actually, that did make her a little bit suspicious. That seemed like a pretty coincidental location for something like this to kick off, didn't it? In fact, wasn't that how these things tended to go? An experiment gone awry...
Kallen made a beeline for Lelouch's room. How fortunate he stayed here, right? She remembered from that first time she ever came here, when they spilled that champagne all over her uniform. Lelouch had arrived to give her some of his clothes, because he lived right in the same building. Sorry, Lelouch, but it looks like she would have to borrow some of your clothes again -
Well, that was the plan. Until a blast of electricity hit her spine right out of nowhere and made her crumple to the floor.
"Oh my, my, my!" Nina tutted, sauntering up behind her with an extremely uncharacteristic sway to her hips that wasn't just the boots walking for her. "Naughty kitties have to be punished, I'm afraid."
"Where - " Kallen gasped. It wasn't a full taser blast, but it was enough to floor even a tough girl like herself. "How did you -" That didn't make any sense at all. Nina was too far away to pull off an electric shock like that! Although now that she looked, there was something in her hands there...
"We knew that when the wonderful and beautiful Milly Ashford used her new skill again, it would make one of us snap out of it," Nina explained. Kallen tried to stand up. And another blast hit her from behind, even though there was nobody there! "So we set up a little precaution, just to make sure no kitties misbehaved, meow, meow!"
A precaution? What sort of precaution? Kallen's mind raced through the possibilities, but it didn't make sense. How was she getting tasered from behind when there wasn't -
She reached back and grasped the tail of the outfit. That was it, wasn't it! Some sort of low-level electrical discharge device in the tail! Nina blasted her again.
"Naughty, naughty!" Nina admonished. "They say that you can't train a cat, but that's just because they don't try hard enough." She giggled and flipped her hair out to the side, then used her other hand to reach out with a huge, face splitting grin. "Just relax, Kallen! It feels really good, and in no time at all we'll have you trained up so you don't even want to resist your brand new Milly-side!"
"Hmm, it's not usually my style to stand back and let someone else hog the limelight..." Rivalz said. "In this instance, I was far too captivated by watching a certain shy girl break the mould. Come on. Let's train that kitty-kat once and for all..."
All seemed hopeless for Kallen at that moment. Pulling this damned tail off her outfit would be impossible if they kept on shocking her every single time she grabbed for it, and running away wasn't an option either. What the hell could she do in a situation like this? Well, luckily for her fate wasn't completely against her, because against everyone's expectations -
- Shirley happens upon them, asks what's going on.
- Lelouch/Suzaku comes home early.
- Milly uses her Geass on Shirley, freeing Nina from the effect.
- Something completely zany and crazy happens.
- Nope, turns out fate is completely against her.
Fate is completely against her? thats funny!
