NGE doesn't rise to the top particularly often, in fact I think it might well be the first time one of those threads has even won. Either way, let's talk a little bit about Drive.
Oh, but this one has so many possibilities. So very many. I do intend to focus more on the comedic side of it for now, but I was thinking about throwing out a few ideas to see which interested you all the most.
I figured, the more sex any given individual under effect of the mysterious energy wave had, the more they physically altered to become more sexually appealing.
I also think that an Angel should probably attack within the next couple of episodes. There should be some sort of side effects on the pilot performance, but I've not quite decided what that effect will be yet.
Don't reveal the cause yet. Hell no. Not doing that for a while, if it can be helped. This is not remotely because of the fact that I've not decided what it is yet, not even.
As for this episode I was thinking it might be fun watching other characters react to the effect, characters that haven't been given focus quite yet. Any particular preferences there?
Those ideas all sound good to me. Though for the "sex=physical improvements" point, that does necessitate there be enough sex happening for that aspect to become a significant factor.

As for other characters to focus on, perhaps Toji, Kensuke and Hikari could get some attention yet?
That does seem pretty doable. I think it could be pretty funny if Hikari tries so very, very hard to maintain a semblence of self control, which could go very nicely as some sort of juxtaposition against Toji's own fantasies. I think it would be funnier if hers were raunchy while his were romantic.
ReplyDeleteAs for Kensuke, well, I'm thinking... Hyperactive when not in the presence of girls, really laid back while they're around. Also, they don't mind him taking pictures all of a sudden.
Any thoughts about those? Anything you'd like to see added?
I like all of that. Those little quirks for each of them would all be amusing.
DeleteAnything else to add? Well, I'm more than a little hesitant to see how Gendo behaves as a result of this. But if anything occurs to me, I'll comment again.
