Before I write up this week's winner, I thought it might be fun to bounce some ideas around regarding the direction this story should take. the thread would continue from here.
Please make any comments you like regarding this story, as it may help not only with this week's update, but future updates as well.
I think I'll start to do this with every winning thread from now on. It might ferment a little discussion.
My plan is to have Nalidiel focus on Kasumi, with the rationale being something like "she's too innocent and pure, and it'll be much more fun." The initial focus would be on something along the lines of acquiring a long term boyfriend, and what she should do to facilitate this.
I think breaking away from canon events right now is a good way to introduce a little diversity to the thread. To follow canon would mean either doing the Jusenkyo explanation or skipping to the next day at school. But if we shift focus to Kasumi, show her as having more of a life than what we see in the manga that might generate a lot more interesting diversions.
Perverting Kasumi should not be taken as an easy task, not by any means. In fact, Nalidiel should be flummoxed more than once. Make it too easy and it's not so interesting, right? Make him frustrated by Kasumi's dismissal of perverted thoughts, make him really work to corrupt her. Perhaps not even succeeding in this update, but forming the germ of a plan that should get it done.
What does everybody else make of this? Do you have any suggestions or questions regarding this? Please ask them in the comments.
Kasumi doesn't have a whole lot of levers to throw, at least that we've seen. She's almost the epitome of selflessness. I agree that she's a worthy challenge, but I'd be worried that if you do corrupt Kasumi and remove her main identifying characteristic, then she just won't be Kasumi anymore.
ReplyDeleteWhat if Nalidiel approaches her from the other direction, and tries suggesting to Kasumi that she isn't selfless enough? That despite her cooking and cleaning and personal support that there is more "physically" that she can give. I wouldn't even bother trying to make any self-centered arguments until she was lured to the forbidden fruit under other pretenses.
Hmm. That could make some sense. Playing to her selflessness rather than against it seems reasonable.
ReplyDeleteSo, do you consider Akane, Ranma and Nabiki "done" for the time being?
That is a much better suggestion than what I had, though I don't think it's what Nalidiel will try for right away. After all, if he automatically goes for the right levers immediately every time, then it ruins a bit of the tension in whether he'll succeed or not.
ReplyDeleteI think Akane, Ranma and Nabiki are sort of done for now, but need an eye kept on them to make sure they're still being kept at a perverted level Nalidiel is happy with.
