Frantic activity abound within the Elven village. They were a secretive lot, unused to visitors. Primarily because they didn't like or trust almost anyone they met. Especially humans... But there was an exception. The hero! The one who had saved the planet! A human like that could be trusted, for certain.
In the midst of all this activity, Harmonie Clairiere was lost in thought. Memories of the stories her grandmother told her about the great hero Joint flitted about her consciousness, making her keenly, crucially aware of what might lie ahead.
A bold, brave hero who stared death in the eye and made it back down. A mighty warrior who could wrestle with orcs and come out triumphant. A cunning tactician, capable of turning the tides of any battle. A keen intellect who could solve any puzzle.
<i>"Oh, yes my dear little Harmonie,"</i> her grandmother, wizened with the eventual age that catches even Elves in the end. <i>"That Joint was a giant among humans. A towering intellect. A handsome, charming gentleman..."
"And what about the others who helped him out?"</i> Harmonie had asked, sitting the edge of her seat at the conclusion to yet another dashing swashbuckling tale. <i>"Like this one, the woman in the cloak!"</i>
The atmosphere had bristled then, and Harmonie couldn't tell why. Had someone angered a powerful Elf nearby? How careless, how thoughtless, how utterly disrespectful. They should be punished for being so - So mean.
<i>"She was. Also. A charming. Woman."</i> her grandmother declared through grit teeth. Oh, she must have noticed the chill in the air, and felt the same frustration as Harmonie. No doubt planning to seek down the wrongdoer and give them the punishment they so rightly deserved. <i>"Yes. Men found her. Especially charming."</i>
In that moment, Harmonie had decided that she would be exactly like this woman. She would be her role model, her inspiration. Why, her adventuring outfit was even modeled after her! She was certain that her grandmother would approve, taking inspiration from a fellow traveling companion.
Here and now her attendants were dashing around the room setting everything up according to the exacting standards laid out by her grandmother's tales. Humans were an odd bunch. The doors were all set so that they only stayed open when a switch - placed on the floor - was being held down by something sufficiently heavy. If the weight moved off the switch, the door would seal shut until it was pressed down again. This seemed inconvenient, but she was sure there was a reason for it.
On top of that, all the other Elven women were wearing pretty flimsy attire, because Grandmother would sometimes spout off about human fashion. It seemed a little showy and fancy to Harmonie, but if that's what humans wore, and it helped set his mind at ease who was she to argue?
Traversing the village would also require solving several intricate block pushing puzzles, because humans apparently love those to pieces. For that reason they would be *everywhere* Oh! And of course, all the food and drink would be served within treasure chests, as that is where humans apparently get all of their food, drink, and most important items.
At last, at long, long last, everything was perfect. Set up just the way she wanted it. Now, they could look in on the hero and see how he was faring against the small trial they had sent his way. Out comes the seeing orb, which would enable her to see within the forest, and -
"I do not see the hero anywhere..." one of her attendants muttered to herself. "All I see is a reedlike young human male surrounded by voluptuous human women, as they collectively fend off the wolves."
Indeed, that's what the orb was showing them. It was focusing on that boy quite a bit. He didn't have the same rippling muscles as the great hero Joint. He didn't have the same lithe physique that her grandmother had so often described.
Nonetheless... Nonetheless, she felt a stirring deep within. Nonetheless, her thighs clenched together, as a strange feeling began to course through her body. She felt something... base. Animalistic. Beneath her contempt. You see, Elves only ever felt lust when they were ready to mate. To have offspring. It was a base and contemptuous feeling for them to have. Certainly, they enjoyed stirring it in others, for it amused them to make humans and others dance to their whims and helped highlight their superiority, but -
But... Look at him. That boy was ringing bells in her that she didn't even know existed.
"I wonder where the real hero is, it can't be that loser..." an attendant muttered.
"There must be some mistake, it cannot be him."
"Silence!" Harmonie yelled, clanging her staff upon the floor. "It is not our place to judge." She felt a flush of embarrassment. Oh no, if she defended him too vigorously, they might think she was - "After all, this is why we set this test. If he's the great hero, then this will be no problem at all for him to -"
<i>"Look out!"</i> the sexy stick figure yelled, as a wolf leaped in at the blind side of the woman in the white robe. Alas, he tripped on a root - but in doing so, his sword was thrust out and cleaved the wolf from head to taint.
Oh gosh Harmonie was having trouble remaining seated in her chair for some reason, why might that be? Deep breaths, now. Deep breaths.
"Hrmph! L-Lucky hit!" she scoffed. "Still, luck is a kind of power unto itself, and there is a chance he was trying to not look cool on purpose so he didn't show up the rest of his adventuring party... I think we can - We can pass him. Right now. Immediately. And bring him to my chambers. Now. move. Move. I said <b>move</b>!"
This was bad! Really bad! Her motor was really running now! Oh, this was humiliating! Nobody could ever find out about this. Nobody could ever find out that she wanted to pin that human down and breed with him, it would be absolutely humiliating! That meant - that meant until it was a more socially appropriate time for her to declare such a thing, she would have to pretend that she hated his guts. Yes. That was the ticket. It was an ideal solution to a terrible out of context problem.
From this, ladies and gentlemen, we now give you Harmonie. The tsundere Elf princess.
