Story: Hentai Crystal

It wasn't an uncommon sight. Rei Hino, in full priestess garb, sitting in front of a fire meditating. Eyes screwed shut, yet an otherwise peaceful expression upon this troubled girl's face. Even that last detail was far from uncommon. Owing to her double life as Sailor Mars, Rei had many occasions to be worried about the immediate future.

Monster attacks. An insidious enemy they needed to overcome. Some trial, some task, some danger to themselves or those arond them - or even strangers in peril. Such things were of great concern to her, and had been ever since she had awakened to her destiny as the Sailor Senshi that wielded purifying fire as her weapon of choice.

What was unusual about this was the source of those worries. Her friends were not in danger, per se. Not in any thing like a physical sense. Mentally, spiritually, they were in great mortal peril. Somehow they had been attacked by a being that had gradually earned their trust. It had taken that trust. Then used it to create an opening to corrupt them. Transform them into perverts. Twist their bodies, their powers, and their thinking processes to make them from superheroes into sluts.

It sent a chill down her spine when she meditated on how she had behaved. What she'd done with her friends. What her friends had done and said to poor, poor Naru. They had almost corrupted her too, like they had been corrupted.

Libra. The name made her stomach twist into knots. Betraying them like that made her sick. A lust demon of some sort, ancient and sneaky, likely took a chance to get in there and use them to its own advantage. How sickening.

On the other hand, these Order people. Beings that craved Order. Rei was no fool. She knew that too much Order in the universe was akin to tyranny. Much as too much Chaos led to anarchy. The balance must be struck between them, and this Order group had certainly engaged in villainous acts towards their own goals.

She was trapped between two great evils fighting it out for her soul. What should a righteous person do when the only two paths ahead of them are different flavours of evil? Normally she would say that two opposing evils should be allowed to battle each other and destroy themselves, for evil is a self destructive force in the end.

However... that sat less well with her when one side of that conflict was using her friends as pawns.

This was the main source of her concerns. What was the right thing to do? Go back to her friends? Assist Libra in overcoming the forces of Order? Allow herself to become an oversexualisd tramp with no sense of sexual morals? The thought repelled her. Going back to that of her own volition... no thanks.

The alternative was to work against her friends for their own good. Bring them back to their senses, and Order was the only thing capable of doing that. She would have to lure them into a trap. Her own friends. For their own good. It weighed upon her. Could she trust Order? Well, they'd been a lot more honest with her than Libra had been. And yet - She had gone back and forth in her own mind trying to determine the best course, and this was all she could come up with. This path. This route. It was the only thing she could do.

For the greater good is a phrase that precludes the most evil in human history. A little suffering now will result in less suffering later. For the greater good means making a sacrifice to appease the Gods. It means selling off a part of yourself so you can do something better later on. It means killing en masse to revolutionise society. For the greater good...

Colour began to drain away from Rei's body as she meditated. Her pale, beautiful skin became ghostly white. Perhaps whiter than her robes, from which the red trim also vanished, become blacker than coal. It had been difficult, but she had made her choice. The Sailor Senshi could not overcome evil in any form while beset and manipulated by evil - so she would manipulate evil to get what she wanted. Her friends back. She would study Order from within, and seek out weaknesses, allowing them to effectively combat them when the time was right.

"For the greater good," Rei Hino said, rising to her feet. Just as Sailor Mercury had become Priestess Mercury, now Sailor Mars would take her place within Order... as Priestess. The one who prays for the sins of the world to be washed away, and purifies all that she touches.Scrub the chaos, erase the curses, and rid it all of wickedness and vice.

It was with great trepidation that the rest of the team followed Mercury and the Starlights back into the temple that was, supposedly, devoted to Libra. None of them quite knew what to expect of the place. Yet here they were. Sailor Moon wasn't the sort for history, in fact that was a surefire way to send her to sleep. If Mercury started talking about the architecture, or trying to put things into 'historical context' then not even that quaking booty could keep her awake.

"Woah, check this place out," Jupiter said, her amazonian stature towering over them all. "Heck of a place you found here, Mercury!"

"You're sure it's safe?" Earth asked. "We're not going to have to flee a rolling boulder, or something. Right?"

"No, of course not," Mercury said. "Those kind of traps would be highly impractical. At best you'd keep out one intruder, then it would have to be reset. Ideally, you'd want something that auto-resets and -"

Moon yawned despite herself. Venus must have noticed because she took the opportunity to goose her. Which helped, but even that could only go so far. Moon sighed and let her head lay upon Tuxedo Mask's shoulder, she was still worried about Mars. Being taken like that... What might they do to her? Where was she?

That was really the main question. Where would they find her? There was no clue of where to look, otherwise they would have rushed right there to rescue her right this very minute. This was the only lead they could pursue, a mysterious ancient temple that was apparently devoted to Libra, and had granted Mercury and the Starlights some extra ass. And a power boost. But mostly ass. So much ass. Gosh, it felt like she could fall asleep on one of those cheeks and have the best night's sleep in recorded history.

At last, they reached what seemed to be the deepest chamber. On entering the room, Sailor Moon had to wince and hug even tighter onto Tuxedo Mask, as a fresh wave of arousal hit her merely from standing here. Oh, and poor Libra, too! The two of them being cut off was unexpectedly painful. She wanted to tell him that it was alright, his loneliness wouldn't return, she'd find a way for them to talk again -

But it seemed that she didn't need to do anything at all, because in the middle of the room a figure appeared. A sort of... amalgamation of all of them. Its face flickered between them, then seemed to take little pieces of each. An eye from Mercury, the other from Jupiter, the nose from Venus, Fighter's chin, Maker's mouth, Healer's cheeks and Earth's forehead. No hair to speak of, but she was wearing a Sailor Senshi uniform. The leotard was pretty standard, but it seemed multicoloured. Light blue, yellow, green and black around the trim and the skirt. She really was an amalgamation of them.

Except, of course, for Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars. Conspicuous by their absence.

"Woah, this is weird," said the figure. She raised her hand, and it shimmered, becoming briefly transparent. "Huh. Not quite strong enough to have a body in this world yet. Maybe if I re-establish my connection to Mars, Moon and Tuxedo Mask..."

No way! But this wasn't how he - How they - "Libra?" Moon asked.

"Sailor Moon! You can hear me!" Libra said, sounding genuinely relieved. "Thank goodness, it sounded like you were having a really hard time of it."

"I thought so," Mercury said. "As this place was used to worship and venerate you, as the wise and powerful being you clearly are, you are at your most powerful and potent here. I suspected you would be able to communicate with Moon here."

"There is still the risk of Order coming back to find us," Healer said. "Historian knows of this place, and will likely try to destroy it."

"All the more reason for us to be here," Jupiter said, pounding her fist into her open palm. "Heh! So, how about it? You think you could find Mars now that you're here?"

"Ah, about that," Libra said. "I, uh, don't actually remember this temple. At all."

A hush fell about the temple room as the meaning behind those words slowly crept into their minds. Libra doesn't remember this temple at all. Which means that if it does grant some kind of power boost, it would not be possible to make full use of it. Whatever connection this place had to libra, it would take time for it to be fully understood. Time that, frankly, Mars might not have.

"So...?" Venus asked. "How about we just... do the same stuff that got Mercury and the Starlights enhanced? Surely that will do something?"

"Oh! Yes, that's a good idea!" Libra said. "If I can see how you were changed, in action, I should be able to work out this temple a bit better. Then, maybe I can figure out where they're keeping Sailor Mars."

That seemed... logical enough. It was as good a place to start as any! So why did Sailor Moon have this weird feeling that things weren't going to be quite as simple as that? Probably learning from past experience.
