Story: LS Mariko

Oh, there was little more that Mariko liked than making her team bigger. With Nabiki kitted out and looking oh so cute, it was making her heart beam with P-R-I-D-E! Sure, she wasn't as athletic as her other recruits but they could work on that easily enough. With a body like that and legs like those, it would be a total tragedy to lose her.

There was a knock at the front door. Perfect timing. Mariko skipped off to the door, leaving Nabiki sitting on her cute little butt stretching out to touch her toes. Twirling her baton, she threw the door open and found her other fellow teammates standing right there, in their full uniforms.

"Coach," Mariko said, reaching out her spare hand to brush up against the woman's cheek. She smiled gently and leaned down to kiss her on the mouth before continuing on her way. Mariko snuck a quick squeeze of her right thigh as she went past. Ooh, what a catch she was!

"Akane," Mariko said to the next girl, running her hand along her hip as the two of them stepped into each other. She felt this thrill of power surging through her as Akane leaned eagerly into the greeting kiss, before skipping off to join the Coach.

"Ranma," Mariko said with a much more gruff tone. Her once hated rival, awakened to the true beauty of cheerleader martial arts. With her, she wasn't nearly as subtle with her touches. With this shortstack, the best targets were those fantastic boobs. Not that the rest of her body wasn't a work of art either, but - man, those boobs were just totally unfair! Making her once rival writhe and gasp under her touch felt super amazing, almost as amazing as cheering on her team from a lousy first half into a crushing victory in the second half!

"Now, you head along and meet up with the others, they're in the training area," Mariko said, spanking Ranma to send her on her way. Mariko hung back a while to watch her go along, and honestly she was starting to wonder what she'd ever seen in boys. The notion felt completely impossible to her now, like a far off dream that someone else was describing to her. Boys were icky. Boys were gross. Girls were where the hotness was at!

By the time that she was back with them at the training hall, Ranma and Akane were engaged in a sloppy makeout while Nodoka was rubbing oil all over Nabiki's legs while the girl was leaning against a wall. My, that was heartwarming to see. None of them wasting any time to get right to the team building!

Still! This was a training session. As fun as all the yuri action was, they were still a cheerleading team. So Mariko clapped her hands to get their attention.

"Say, coach!" Mariko said cheerfully. "Doncha think it's about T-I-M-E that we practise a routine of some sort?"

"Why, good thinking Miss Konjo!" Nodoka said. "Why don't we start with something simple to begin with? That way, we can build up to the more complicated routines over the course of time more effectively - And it will let us understand what everyone's strengths and weaknesses are, so we can accommodate them later."

Well, yes, that much was pretty obvious, but then again Nodoka's role as coach was not to actually be the coach and more to function as Mariko's plaything that was roleplaying as a coach.

"No lifts," Mariko said. "No big jumps or cartwheels either. Baton twirling is kinda hard to do if you don't practise at it, and using a ribbon properly will take time too..." So she gave them all pompoms. Easiest tool of the trade to use. "Alright! I want two of you behind me and to the left, and two of you behind me to the right!"

They paired up the way that you would expect. With Ranma and Akane to the left, and the other two to the right. Ugh, honestly, mini-cliques were something you had to cut out right away. So Mariko swapped around Ranma and Nodoka, so that Akane was paired with the latter and Nabiki the former.

"Hrmph, you sure you don't want me doing cartwheels?" Ranma asked, casually juggling the pompoms.

"Dummy, we're trying to keep it simple so we can all learn how to do this right!" Akane rolled her eyes. "Showoff."

The two of them stuck their tongues out at each other, because no matter how much they banged or had their minds fried by the Lesbian Shard, some aspects of their personality were pretty untouchable. Sort of like stirring coffee in a cup, there's always one point that goes unmoved from its original point no matter how much you stir.

Not that the Lesbian Shard minded it. It loved lesbians of all stripes, even tsundere ones.

"Now, you two, play nice," Nodoka said. "You wouldn't want me to put you over my knee, now would you?"

Nabiki snorted out a laugh, while both Ranma and Akane got very thoughtful expressions there. Mariko did as well. Mm, yes, being put over Nodoka's knee sounded very fun. Later. For now they had training to do!

"Alright! Let's go for a simple routine!" Mariko said, raising her right pompom into the air. She kept that arm straight up in the air, and then put her left arm straight out. "Gimma an L!"

"L!" the other four called back, mirroring her motion.

Next, she hopped her feet together and slightly arched her legs while bringing her arms together over her head. "Gimme an O!"

"O!"

Next, she split them apart and put her legs together. "Gimme a V!"

"V!"

And finally, she leaned over with her arms on either side of her head. "Gimme an E!"

"E!"

"And what's that spell?"

"Love!"

Right! That was the most basic and fundamental cheer imaginable. They'd done it pretty slowly that time around, but Mariko ran them through it again a little faster this time. Not much, because the point of a cheer isn't to do it quickly but to do it fluidly. It should be like... like a dance. One motion flowing into the next. All the while, she watched the four of them carefully to evaluate their ability.

Ranma was the most capable. Easily the most limber and athletic. Akane was second place, though maybe slightly on the clumsy side. Nodoka was after her. Maybe a little rusty, out of practise. Nabiki was trying, though didn't quite have the same stamina that the others did. She probably did some yoga in her spare time, but wasn't nearly as athletic as the others, much as she expected.

Alright then. The basics of the basics had shown her what she had to work with. This was good. This was great! Now they could move onto something a bit more advanced, and from there build up their own routine -

"Say, I've been wondering," Nabiki said out of nowhere. "So, who are we cheering on exactly? I mean, you go to a totally different school than we do, so..."

"Oh, well, we'll be cheering on..." Mariko began, then trailed off and stood there with a calm and peaceful smile on her face. A minute or so passed. The other members of the team watched her expectantly.

"Who are we cheering on?!" Mariko yelled, grasping the sides of her head. "Ah! Oh no! Love is a vital part of cheerleading! If we're not cheering on something, then it's meaningless! We need a team, we need something to C-H-E-E-R for! Otherwise what's the point of this team?!"

"She'd only just realised this?" Ranma asked. Akane shrugged. "Guess she was just kinda going with the flow, huh?"

"Dummy, weren't you listening?" Akane asked. "She just said that love is a vital part of the cheerleading process. Which means..."

The two of them moved into an embrace, and seemed ready to resume the sloppy makeout from before - but Nodoka gently parted them. "Later," she said. "We need to focus on this issue properly. We can hardly build a cheerleading team that is one hundred percent devoted to your dirty yuri love."

"Oh wow, you are actually oblivious to what's going on around here, aren't you?" Nabiki asked. She was roundly ignored, for those comments made absolutely no sense to anyone else in the room at all. "Alright, look. Boss, there's an easy answer to this problem. We cheer on... the Tendo dojo! A simple recruitment drive. Make the people flock to my family's business -"

"And make yourself some extra pocket change on the side," Akane interrupted.

But Mariko could see the potential in a scheme like that. Her eyes darted around, running through the scenario. Cute cheerleaders advertising for a local training hall? What an absolutely perfect way to express their L-O-V-E! And, if they played their cards right... it could even help recruit a few more members for the team!

Plus cute girls in gis to cheer on! Win-win!

  1. It doesn't take long before they're noticed by someone they know.
  2. Meanwhile, Shampoo finds a strange broach, and when Ranma runs into her, for some reason she hates the cute little redhead! This will not stand.
  3. Akane’s friends start to investigate the weird situation going on.
  4. Ukyo ends up coming over to Ranma to see what’s up with her.
