Story: CG New Demoness

Sophie Wood had exactly one thing to contribute to the plot of <i>Code Geass</i>. One thing and one alone. She was Shirley's roommate at the Ashford dorms. She had no other useful function to serve in the narrative than the fact that she was there. She filled space. She was someone that could stand outside the room while Lelouch and C.C. searched for some sort of clue to where Shirley might have gone. And that was it. Otherwise the most you could really say about her is "she exists". No indication is really given of her interests - besides possibly being attracted to women, maybe? - no motivation is given to her, barely any dialogue. There's nothing there. She's pretty much a warm body that occupies space, who exists to do one extremely minor thing.

At least in the canon version of events. Right here and now she was a trifle concerned about the wellbeing of her roomie. Rushing off the way she did the other day, that time off sick, that weird behaviour, and now she was hurrying off with a determined gleam in her eye that was usually quickly followed by some sort of trouble. Big trouble.

Now, Sophie asked where Shirley was heading. Because of course she did. No response. So she waited a moment and crept on right after her. It wasn't exactly difficult to follow, as Shirley wasn't paying any kind of attention to her surroundings. She was heading down towards the central office building, which wasn't necessarily weird for a member of the student council but suddenly doing it out of the blue like this for no seeming reason kind of was. Maybe she'd remembered something she'd forgotten to do, or, hell, Sophie didn't know! All she could do was keep her distance and try to seem as inconspicuous as possible.

"Hi," Shirley said to the receptionist. "I received a package the other day, and wanted to track where it came from. Do you know how I'd go about finding that out?"

"Well, Shirley, the school does keep track of delivery details," the receptionist replied. "When the parcel arrived, what delivery service was used - Ah, here we go! It appears to have been delivered by Stallion Delivery. Why do you ask? Was there a problem with the delivery?"

"Oh, nothing the school needs to worry about," Shirley said in a way that probably wasn't as reassuring as she probably thought it was. "It was just something arrived that I didn't order, and I wanted to return it. Um, do you know the address for their offices?"

"Of course," the receptionist replied. "I was already heading to their website in case you asked... It appears to be 13 Arthur Street. Oh, that's not too far from here. You could probably walk there and return it by hand if you wanted."

"Thanks, that's really helpful! It's such a nice day out, I might just do that."

She turned on her heel and marched right out of the office, prompting Sophie to scramble around a corner and watch as Shirley departed with that same defiance, the same determination that sparked Sophie's concern and curiosity.

<i>But you know, she's kind of hot when she's like that.</i>

Yep. Really kept herself fit, that girl. Swimming truly is an all-body workout, and damn if it didn't show. Sophie shuddered a little and tried to ignore the mental image of Shirley, a bed and a bottle of syrup because it was really not conducive to what she was trying to do just now.

That said, what was she doing again? Oh! Right. Following Shirley.

Now, luckily Sophie actually knew where she was heading, which made following her kind of trivial. Actually it was probably smarter to just take her time; less chance of being noticed, and they would end up at the same place anyway. Right? Right! Gave her a little time to try and figure all this out and try to stop imagining that Shirley was right there in front of her completely naked, because none of this was sexy and besides which she didn't even have a crush on her roomie, really...

She unconsciously licked her lips and continued on towards the address she'd overheard. None of this had made sense. What had Shirley meant about that package? An unexpected item that she was returning? The timing seemed a little suspicious as well. Did it have something to do with her absence? What could it be?

"Sorry, miss, that information is kind of classified," the sole worker at the front desk had said. "Afraid you'd need special permission to get access to it. From a judge, a military officer or an equivalent official. I can't just let that sort of information go out to just anyone."

"Alright," Shirley carefully said. "In that case... Sorry about this."

And then the guy just sort of yawned and collapsed. Sophie stared from the window she'd been staring in from the outside with a slack jaw and wide, wide eyes. She had to blink a few times just to try to clear it from her head. What just happened there? Had Shirley done that? How? Could she always do that? Now she was just accessing the guy's computer from across the counter like it wasn't even anything to worry about and <i>what the hell was going on?</i>

That wasn't even the most important question. Nope. The undisputed winner of that particular contest had to go to one question and one question alone: Why, oh why, did that turn her on so much?

Seriously. It wasn't a rational response at all. She'd just seen someone she knew, someone she lived with, knock a person out with a <i>look</i> and it was the hottest thing she'd ever seen in her life. It made her want to march right in there and pin her to that desk and kiss her and fondle her breasts and take off her clothes and have naughty, filthy sex right there on top of the counter.

Though, you know, the more she thought about it? There really wasn't any reason she shouldn't at least try for that. Of course, the very fact that she was now the one behaving weirdly didn't even cross her mind. Then again, a person's actions almost always seem rational to them at the time.

So Kallen didn't have the single faintest idea of what to expect from this meeting. Not after that little encounter at the student council building earlier on. Some sort of perverted influence, huh? Did it have anything to do with the mystery voice? Did he know anything about this? Who the hell was he, anyway? Questions like that bubbled up from her mind, but here was another important one that desperately needed answering right now.

"Tamaki, when are you going to stop staring at my tits?"

She hadn't even meant to say tits. It just sort of slipped out. Definitely a bad sign. At the very least the idiot stopped staring for a couple seconds without further remark.

Honestly now. The whole "meet me on the train" thing was a little bit much. Obviously an attempt to ensure they didn't try a trap of some sort. How could they when the destination wasn't known to them in advance?

"I don't know whether I want to punch this guy or shake his hand," Ohgi said. "I guess it's not Kururugi like we were thinking it might be, if he was able to call you on the tower."

"Doesn't mean we should trust the guy," Tamaki growled. "We still don't know the first thing about him! This whole thing is breasting my patience, this boob had better be able to account for nipself."

She slapped him across the back of the head, which he replied with using a "what the hell?" gesture that she returned with a look that should have set him on fire there and then. Her mood was not improving any. Not even a little bit. Even when she caught sight of a lone figure up in the train car ahead. It was kind of hard to see who it was. They had their back turned and they were wearing some kind of outfit, no way to see anything...

"Hey!" Ohgi called as they entered the car. "Are you that guy? Who are you? Can you at least turn around to face- "

The train went into a tunnel at the very instant the figure turned around. Also simultaneously, Kallen felt herself becoming very, very wet and her nipples attempting their very best impersonation of diamonds. Now, that didn't make a lick of sense. She wasn't even able to tell you the first thing about who this guy was or what he looked like under that mask or even something as simple as the colour of his skin. It was all covered. Completely. The only things she knew about him were the design of his costume and her sudden, desperate need to have some part of him inside of some part of her.

"My name," he began, with an over-the-top gesture that in no way quenched Kallen's intense, probably unnatural lust, "is Zero! What did you think of my tour of the settlement?"

"Could use a more hands-on approach," Tamaki groused. "So, are you the guy from the other day?"

"Indeed I am!" Zero said. God, even the rhythm of his voice was making her erogenous zones tremble in anticipation. Stop it. Concentrate. Focus. "Now it is my turn for a question: Have any of you observed any unnatural events of late? Suspicious behaviour, inexplicable matters."

"Huh? What the hell does that have to do with -"

"I have!" Kallen said, raising her hand. She gestured to her chest, and felt a slight thrill at the idea that he might be examining them. "These were at least one cup size smaller earlier on, and no surgeon has gone anywhere near them. They just sort of grew up out of nowhere. Why do you ask?"

"Because I, too, have experienced unnatural events these past few days," Zero warned. "It had been my intention to request your assistance in the grand vision of fighting for justice, yet I grow fearful there may be more insidious enemies at work than the Imperial oppressors."

"What sort of 'unnatural events' do you mean?" Ohgi asked. "I mean, it's hardly natural to meet up with someone on a crowded train that happens to be wearing a mask to hide his identity, while openly talking about such weird things."

"Yes, I can see how that might concern you," Zero said. "However... That is merely a secondary concern. My true purpose for calling you here is to provide an opportunity to behold a miracle! I led you to victory in Shinjuku, and I shall lead you there again. All you need to do is follow me."

"I'm in," Kallen said immediately, needing no further persuading. "If you can help me find an answer to <i>these</i>, then I'll gladly follow you anywhere."

"Oh, man! Those things are taking the blood away from your brain!"

Everyone else in the train car just stared at Tamaki without saying a word. Really. He was going to set himself up that easily? It was like he was asking to be made fun of. Even if he wasn't a dumbass Kallen would've ignored him anyway. This guy - whoever he was - probably actually was her best lead at finding out what the hell was going on and she didn't intend to squander it. Of course, it didn't exactly hurt that the raw desire to screw him stupid (and he could keep the mask on for all she cared) was probably best sated by following his lead.

"Fine," Ohgi sighed. "I'll help out too. I want to see where you're going with this, and -" And he owed it to her brother to keep her safe where he could. Probably best he didn't say anything more like that, as it would've brought the mood down a little.

"Tsk, whatever! I'm not taking part in this... I don't even know what to call it, but it's completely mad."

"Me neither. Just try not to get yourselves killed."

"Very well," Zero said with his arms spread wide open. "The two of you will be more than sufficient. For our very first move... Is to rescue Suzaku Kururugi!"

  1. Shirley learns where the package came from, and heads off to the address.
  2. Shirley is interrupted by Sophie, but learns something about what's going on from her.
  3. Shirley learns nothing, heads off home and is jumped by Sophie.
  4. Something else

  1. Heh, guess I should check out the previous entries in this line. I was very surprised to find out Sophie was a canon character, and confirmed lesbian at that, at least according to Shirley. Kallen's focus on her own boobs was fun to read, as was Sophie's stalking.
