Got to admit, I haven't had the time to really think over either of these threads yet. I'm very, very tired right now, so I'll probably edit this post after work tomorrow. In the meantime if you have any thoughts for where either thread can progress, please don't hesitate to comment.
Edit: Okay, I'm back from work and been thinking about this off and on all day. Let's see what I came up with!
HCI: I'd rather like to focus on Konatsu trying to get the horse back into the barn after it's already bolted, so to speak. I think that might be pretty fun actually!
Hentai Crystal: It's pretty tempting to have the demon attempt to interact with the completely oblivious Usagi, when he's even worse at being socially inept. That could be pretty funny. Especially if, due to her obliviousness, she completely falls for it anyway. How does all this sound?

ReplyDeleteAnyways, assuming you're not looking to branch prior to my contributions to Hentai Crystal (if you are don't worry I take no offense), the points where I've narrowed the scope include an initial encounter with the new enemy ( I'm thinking that they are beings of extreme order who find all forms of passion repugnant which is why their such prudes), a small bit hinting at small influences on the Senshi with potential for more later, and with Jupiter being the one to grab a new technique first off this time around. As far as directions from here, there's the option of fleshing out the new enemy a bit more, (is there going to be an Order Mcguffin, or some other big goal?). There's also the option of character introspection, possibly with a few hints of those subtle effects as the Senshi recall Jupiter striking her victory pose in the nude.
And another avenue mentioned is the possibility of the Demon trying to slowly interact with the Senshi more directly by connecting with Usagi's dreams. Which of course could go for the rout of the Demon successfully selling himself as a wise and benevalent counselor, or it could turn out that a thousand years not being able to talk to anybody directly means that wise counselor act keeps getting undermined by him saying things like "Sailor Bigtits Ah, sorry Sailor Jupiter!" or a variety of other misspeaks. From here it would depend on Usagi who might start getting uncomfortable, might find him silly, or might become sympathetic depending on how things go.
Well inept intersecting with clueness is certainly a fun dynamic to work with.
ReplyDeleteStill, to fully capture the dynamic of Usagi, it might make sense that in the midst of her not catching things, she does have a few moments where she shows some actual insight. But it should be insight about emotions rather than anything intelectual. Enough to give the demon some moments of nervousness, but still something leaving room for her to make big wrong guesses.
I just hope their's something Sexy going with Usagi, like breast expansion and the like.
