All in all, skipping was probably the best call to make. It made her seem energetic, showed off how excited she was, how eager to perform... Yes! Definitely skipping!
There was a door on the other side of the room, which is where the other auditions probably went. It wouldn't do to have a poor crying girl being made to go out in front of all the still-waiting would-be idols. At the back of the room there was a big, huge monitor with three judges sitting right there, a man flanked by two pretty women - one in red and the other blue - all three wearing glasses and each with a clipboard on the desk in front of them.
"Hi!" Minako greeted, placing her hand on her hip and pressing her other index finger to the side of her head. "I'm Minako Aino! But you can call me Mina if you like."
"Of course, Mina," the man said, adjusting his glasses. "It is a pleasure to have you here today. We would like you to select from a list of popular songs to perform for the audition. Feel free to sing and dance to your heart's content, though I should stress that we might want to stop you at any time to give you some direction."
"After all," one of the women said, not looking up from her desk. "All idols need a small amount of direction."
"So true," the other continued, similarly staring down at her clipboard. "Otherwise, why would there be directors in the first place?"
"The lyrics will be on the monitors," the man explained, flashing her a reassuring smile. "So it's sort of like karaoke. This should give us a good idea of your natural talent before we can give you serious consideration. Try to relax, it'll be fine!"
She had to admit. The song list was pretty impressive. But hey, if she was going to make a choice might as well go with the in-joke. Man, you should have seen the smile on Usagi's face when they first released this particular melody.
<i>"Fighting evil by moonlight. Winning love by daylight. Never running from a real fight! She is the one named -"</i>
"Ah, pardon me a moment!" the man interrupted. "Love your singing so far, Mina, no need to look so down, but if you would please maybe dance a little as well?"
"Dance? Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't even think anything of it."
"That's alright," the man said, rapping himself on the side of the head. "I forgot to mention it earlier. After all, you will be on stage; you'll have to sing and dance at the same time. Of course, under normal conditions you'll be given plenty of rehearsal time for both the song and dance. That's why we have the lyrics on the screen behind us. You can do any dance you like, all we care about for now is how you look. The actual choreography will be taken care of by our own team."
"Oh," Minako said. "So, you just want to see me dance like this?"
She danced in place for about thirty seconds before the women in the red suit rolled her eyes and pulled out of the chair. All of a sudden Minako was struck by how completely beautiful this woman was. It was like she was being approached by a model, with bright red hair and a confidence to her walk that she could never hope to match.
"You're dancing too much with your legs and not enough with your hips," the woman gently advised. She placed her hands on either side of Minako's hips and began to pull her around. "Play the music for a brief period. There, Listen to the rhythm. All manner of sound is a kind of vibration in the air. Listen to it. Let it into your body. Let it command you. Feel that vibration and use your body to express it."
All the while she spoke, she made Minako's hips bounce and shake to the beat. At first the proximity was a little uncomfortable, but after a while she could sort of see what the woman meant. She could almost feel the sound more than she could hear it. A soft smile crept onto her lips. It felt oddly pleasant dancing like this. So much that she didn't even notice the woman had gone back to the desk and she was still dancing away.
"Let's try that again," the man said, giving Minako a cheeky wink that made her blush. "From the top!"
<i>"Fighting evil by moonlight. Winning love by daylight. Never running from a real fight! She is the one named Sailor Moon! She will never turn her back -"</i>
"Wait!" the other woman interrupted, the one in the blue suit. Minako stopped singing, but the music continued playing and so she kept right on dancing. Because music is a vibration, and her body couldn't help but feel it passing through her. It sort of felt right to keep going with it. "Please forgive the interruption, but you seem a little uncomfortable." She rose from her seat. "If I may?"
Before she even knew what was happening, the woman in blue was right there in front of her. Unbuttoning the top two buttons on her blouse. A flush of pleasure flew right through her. Huh? Weird. Where did that come from, but more importantly - "W-Wait a minute, that's a little too -"
"From the top!" the man announced, and the music restarted.
<i>"Fighting evil by moonlight,"</i> Minako began, unable to stop herself from singing the opening line. Now she was starting to get a little bit worried. Her body was just going along with it, singing and dancing away, and she couldn't stop herself. Worse yet, she was starting to really enjoy herself. <i>"Winning love by daylight. Never running from a real fight! She is the one named Sailor Moon!"</i>
"I do beg your pardon," the woman in red interrupted. Minako opened her mouth to protest, but the woman pressed on before she could even say anything. "Mina, I think my colleague may have been on the right track. Your clothes are restrictive, aren't they?"
"What's going on here?" she asked, now fully aware of this strange pulsing pressure in the back of her head. Worse yet now that it was brought up her clothes did feel rather uncomfortable all of a sudden. Her right hand began to reach for the clasp holding up her skirt and her left had to grab it away! And yet the music kept right on playing, making her hips keep on swaying, and it felt so good to dance like that. "What are you doing to me?"
All three of them looked quite surprised at this question. For a moment Mina wondered if it was because it was all in her head, and that moment of indecision cost her half the buttons on her blouse. She moaned in unexpected pleasure as soon as her cleavage hit air. By the time she snapped out of it, both women were on either side of her, and now she could see that the only difference between them was their suit and hair colour.
But neither of them was touching her. Instead they were simply dancing. The same kind of sexy dance that she was doing right now, and it made her pussy throb with desires she could barely identify.
"From the top," the man said, and Minako's eyes instinctively went back to the screen. She felt her mouth begin to form the words on the screen, even though she knew they were wrong. Completely wrong! Yet she couldn't help herself. Nor could she help feeling an odd twisted delight in singing along to these twisted lyrics.
<i>"Stripping down by moonlight. Lap dancing by daylight. Always ready for a real cock! She is the one called Slutty Moon!"</i>
"You know, I didn't expect to find someone with such a strong will audition today," the man said, stroking his chin thoughtfully while the two women danced next to him and Minako herself sang and danced helplessly. "Usually you girls are so blinded by fame that you trip over yourselves falling under our spell. Such a pretty, cute thing. You might even be our star attraction. Once we've finished moulding your mind to our own purposes, that is..."
The damning part of it all was that she could feel her mind slipping away the tighter she tried to hold onto it. She could feel her hands taking off her clothes, and with each little thing she took off there was this amazing pulse of bliss that passed right through her. Her body wasn't obeying anymore and it felt great! But Minako Aino wasn't like anyone else. Anyone else would've surrendered long before now. She'd been the victim of far more effective brainwashing techniques than this.
Which is why she unconsciously conserved her strength until the moment that her fingers touched a certain transformation wand, which she always kept on her person in case of emergencies. For example; Right now.
"Venus Power Make Up!"
"... Well, shit," the man eloquently said, staring into the eyes of a pissed-off Sailor Venus. "Uh... Crap, this was not what I was expecting at all. I suppose that would explain the strong will?"
"Of course," Sailor Venus said, staring down into his eyes with a terrifying conviction. His two minions were frozen in place on either side of her, and she roughly shoved them forward so that all three were in front of her. Best place for them. So she could keep an eye on them. "I suppose you've been brainwashing all the auditioning girls here today, turning them into brainwashed strippers or something like that? In that case, I have three words for you.
"From. The. Top."
It was rather fun seeing the fear and confusion play out on his face like that. The women too. Then it transformed into abject relief and triumph when Sailor Venus began to sing and dance for their entertainment. She even pushed the man back into his chair for a super sexy lapdance. Her transformation meant the blonde was back in clothing, but she already began to strip it off, tearing away the magical skirt so the boss man got a great view of her pristine leotard covering. Which proceeded to be pristine for only a moment longer as a visible spot of arousal began to appear on the front.
As she turned around and wiggled her rump in his direction, shaking her hips from side to side, Venus bit down on her lower lip as she watched the two twins. They were just as enthusiastic about her dance as she was, moving their hands up to cup their own full breasts as they continued to dance. Soon Venus' top was off too, and she returned to face the boss, cooing as she brought her gloved hands down to her crotch to help her thighs spread, until she was straddling the leader of the operation with lust in her eyes and perky nipples poking through her bra.
It was a funny thing. She'd had to choose between love and duty time and time again and duty won out every single time. It never seemed fair. The guardian of love would never know that happiness. A tragedy written across the ages since the time of the Moon Kingdom. A tragedy with a new alternative ending that nobody could have guessed at.
"Heh," the man chuckled. "I guess we'd better bring in your Senshi buddies too, huh? Wouldn't want them getting too nosy, and besides I bet you'd rather be a stripper than an idol now. Right?"
"So true!" Sailor Venus moaned. "So very, very true! You've given me an exhibitionist streak a mile wide. It feels so good to flaunt my sex appeal."
"Uh... Boss? Something's wrong," the woman in red said, her voice sounding pretty drowsy.
"I can't look away from her sexy body," the woman in blue added, her voice much the same.
"I think she's hypnotising us!" they said in unison as their movements became undeniably sluggish. Hands that were once groping themselves lovingly went slack at their sides, though their hips still managed to shimmy seductively.
There it was. That fear again all over his face. She pulled him into her bosom to make it go away and held him there until she could feel his willpower evaporate to nothing at all.
"Like you said. I want to be a stripper, not an idol," Venus said. "Just not <i>your</i> stripper."
- Venus takes over the operation.
- Venus turns the two over, then sets off on her own career path.
- Venus heads off to meet with the others.
- Venus' transformation was noticed by the others.
- Something else
