Story: TLR A Likely Tail

This one is pretty interesting in that there wasn't much of a plot already in place until this point. I hope it works out, maybe stokes a little interest in the thread.

It is often the case that very big things start because of very small things. The previous sentence is, in a way, rather similar to the butterfly effect. A butterfly flaps its wings, and halfway around the world a hurricane develops. Well, to be perfectly literal with the idea it’s rather ridiculous on the face of it, at least if you know anything about how hurricanes form. It will happen regardless of whether the butterfly flaps its wings or not. It all comes down to temperature differences and air pressure and a whole list of other factors that do not, in point of fact, rely in the slightest on whether or not a member of Lepidoptera chooses to land on a slightly higher flower than its current position. Therefore the metaphor falls rather flat on its face, and -

Sorry, that was a little bit of a divergence from the main point. Though that particular instance doesn’t really make sense if you think about it, big things can happen because of small things. Obviously. Just because one example is refuted doesn’t mean the idea it represents isn’t correct and does not in any way preclude the possibility of other kinds of similar events.

For example: Microbes are pretty damn small. Invisible to the human eye, yet they can have such a devastating effect on the human body that probably the second most wonderful and complicated part of the human system is entirely devoted to dealing with that particular kind of chaos. It adapts! It learns! Yet it has no mind of its own! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the wonderful, the truly astounding human immune system!

Which it turns out is completely dissimilar to the just-about-as-robust Deviluke immune system. Now, it’s still very impressive, don’t get us wrong. In fact, it might even be more impressive; we just haven’t had the chance to really look at it. But… it is definitely different.

So, tempting as it is to watch Haruna succumb to the overwhelming and inexplicable sensations her tail had granted her, we must cast our eyes quite regrettably to the day before. Yes, we must unfortunately miss out on her kicking her clothes to the floor and writhing around on her bed as she lay there naked, desperately pumping her hand along the tip of the tail. We must cast our eyes elsewhere as her free hand draws a trail down her body that inevitably led towards her desperate, sopping wet pussy. We must ignore the way that her hands behave separately, but in a strange kind of unison with one stroking the tail while the other thrust two fingers in a quite explorative measure, leaving her nude, sweat-drenched body in the highest state of ecstasy she’d ever, to that point, experienced in her life.

Instead of that, we have to focus on Lala Deviluke. Not a bad replacement, really. Cute face. Playful attitude. Killer body, with curves in all the right places (and a few most boys didn’t even know were the right places before meeting her). Tendency to wind up inexplicably nude. Didn’t particularly care all that much about the previous sentence. Nope, not a bad replacement at all, all things considered. Except today.

“Aaaaachoooo!”

Because today, Lala Deviluke was made of snot, phlegm and sneezes. Today, Lala looked like death warmed up. She was dehydrated, her skin burned to the touch. And that’s not a metaphor. Rito tried taking her temperature, and wound up with his hand wrapped in bandages.

“Dupid code,” Lala sniffed. She fidgeted in bed, unable to get comfortable because of a symptom that was not immediately obvious. “Cab’t jubt lie in bed aww day!” She sniffed and very gingerly tried to adjust her position so that she didn’t roll onto her tail, and tried standing up at the very moment that the door creaked open and several girls wearing masks over their faces stepped gingerly into the room. And oven mitts, which seemed rather sensible given what happened to poor Rito earlier on.

“Oh, goodness!” Haruna gasped. “Lala, you shouldn’t be up! You should be back in bed trying to recover!”

“Dob’t be silly!” Lala said, waving Haruna off. “I’b fined! Got inventions to buid add shtuff to make!”

“At the very least you should put some clothes on when you have guests,” Yui sniffed, carefully averting her eyes from Lala’s naked body.

“Haruna’s right, I’m afraid,” Run said. “You’ll recover much more quickly if you stay off your feet. All you’re going to do is make yourself sicker.”

“You’re being silly!” Lala insisted, digging through her tools with an increasingly manic grin. She couldn’t take it anymore. She’d been lying around for hours, not doing anything when there was just so much to do! “I’b perfectly alwighd, see? I can - Ah!”

It was probably intended as an action to get her attention. Nothing malicious. Nothing insensitive or malicious. Under normal circumstances it was the kind of thing that would leave her immobile, incapable of movement, whimpering a little from the overstimulus. But today Lala was sick. Today, this weird human illness had caused her senses to go into overdrive. Which is why, when Yui had grabbed Lala’s tail and yanked her back towards the bed, Lala’s eyes rolled back into her head and, well, she came.

“Oh! How shameless!” Yui gasped. “You- You shameless - Just from touching your tail?!”

Lala just lay there in bed staring up at the ceiling and tuned out the conversation. She could make out Run explaining the Deviluke tail thing… Though the words just sort of drifted through her mind, which was even now working overtime. It was a shame, in a way. Her friends didn’t really understand what it was like. Even Run, her friend, didn’t quite understand what it meant to have a tail…

So what if she gave them the chance to find out? It wouldn’t be that hard. A few sensory connectors here and there, and it should emulate the experience quite wonderfully. Wouldn’t take more than a half hour to sort out the design. She tried rolling out of bed, but the cold and the unexpected orgasm had completely wiped her energy. Alright then. It just gave her more time to think through the design before she actually did it. Then again, thinking about it made her fingers itch something fierce. She didn’t want to think about doing it! She wanted to do it!

Haruna tentatively opened the door and peered inside, trying to block out the memory of what happened yesterday. It was best to chalk it all up to Lala being unwell, but still… From what Rito had said downstairs, he hadn’t found out about the incident. Which was for the best. He also indicated that she was feeling better, which was also good news.

“Haruna!” Lala excitedly called, yanking her inside the room before she could think another thought. “Come in, I’ve got something for you!”

Well, she was certainly improved from yesterday. That much was clear. Her temperature was more in line with someone that actually did have a cold, instead of being hot enough to boil water. She looked down at the box Lala had in her hand, and it was opened with a strange glee on the part of the alien. Within the box, there were five empty slots and one which indicated exactly what it was that was supposed to be in the others. It looked almost like -

“Go on,” Lala said, picking the object up and waving it around in front of Haruna’s face. “Try it on!”

“T-Try it on?” Haruna stammered, completely caught off guard by this turn of events. “But I don’t, I mean, what do you mean by -”

Her stammering complaint was suddenly cut off when Lala had spun her around and, before she could even think to protest, slapped the item against a spot near the bottom of her spine and - Haruna’s world went a bit wibbly. She trembled. She bit her lip. She tried desperately not to moan.

“There!” Lala said triumphantly. “Now you can feel what it’s like to have a tail! Pretty neat, huh?”

Haruna nodded, fearful of what might come out if she actually tried to say anything. She could feel it alright. “Pretty neat” wasn’t quite how she would describe it. She couldn’t even bring herself to take a step forward or do much of anything at all… Then just like that Lala pulled it off, and somehow Haruna felt disappointed. Like she’d lost something.

“Here,” Lala said. “All yours! I’m sure you’ll have fun with it. The others seemed to like theirs, too!”

“Others?” Haruna asked. “You mean, you gave others things just like this?”

“Of course!” Lala said triumphantly. “It only felt right to give you the chance to understand what it’s like to have a tail!”

Haruna looked down at the box that was thrust into her hand. She shouldn’t accept this gift. She really shouldn’t. Yet, even thinking about the experience she’d just been through, combined with her own politeness, all she could do was nod and meekly accept it.

Which leads us rather nicely back to where we started, a scant hour after she accepted the gift, whimpering and moaning and giving in to those denied feelings from before.

“Oh, Rito!” she whimpered, wishing that the boy was here, wishing that he was the one that was wrapping his hands around her tail, wishing that her fingers were actually his big, throbbing dick thrusting into her again and again. “This is heaven!” she moaned, and her mind turned briefly towards the others. Were they in a similar state as herself? If not… If they had somehow been able to resist, then Haruna secretly decided that she would need to make sure they understood what it was they were giving up!

 1. Meanwhile, another girl explores with her tail.
 2. The next day, Haruna decides to show how wonderful the tail is to another girl.
 3. Lala decides to make more advanced tails, while being unaware of the effects the previous batch have.
 4. The tails have another effect that hasn't been noticed yet.
 5. Something else
