Technically, HCI had both of the top votes, so I decided to take the next highest on priority points as the other winner. This does mean HCI will almost assuredly win next week's priority as well of course, but this seemed the best way to do it rather than just doing two straight updates.

Hrm, a little bit torn on this one. I'm leaning towards Option two for the time being. How do you think Nabiki would go about manipulating her?

I really like the idea of Asuna being basically immune, but a carrier of the meme. Is it time to go for that, or should it be held off for just a little bit longer?
HCI: I agree with option 2 (new victim!). I think the most in-character motivation for Tearju would be helping Yami. If Nabiki hasn't met her yet, can't remember, then you could open the chapter with a quick scene of Yami's main schtick. Somehow Nabiki needs to know/learn that Yami hates perversion and this gets in the way of her feelings for Rito and use Tearju's motherly feelings as a way to get her infected and a willing spreader of the virus to help her technical daughter's relationship status.
ReplyDeleteSBO: Working in Magic Cancel that way sounds like a cool idea with a lot of potential. Maybe with Asuna finding out the secret quickly but no one transforms so Chisame and Chao think they a chance so they reveal things to her. However, she thinks they're making fun of her so she leaves and then Chisame, Chao, and now Satsuki transform revealing that Asuna is the Typhoid Mary of bimbodom. Now in future chapters Asuna can infect people unknowingly while maintaining her belief it's fake (since no transforms until she leaves).
If you don't want to go down that route though, I would like to see someone else turned. I admit that's a big draw to me of stories like this.
SBO I disagree, I want Magic Cancel to partially affect her. let her have the Bimbo body and libido but keep her intelligence, let her be the sane woman in a world of madness.
ReplyDeleteHCI: Let's see.. I don't know if Nabiki has seen Yami, but if she has then I agree with the Anonymous commenter above that she is an obvious thing for Nabiki to poke at. They look way too similar for it to be a coincidence. She may even think it is one of the cursed springs to be honest.
ReplyDeleteSince Nabiki wants to control the curse so that she can profit from it, that can be her angle here. Get Tearju to agree with researching and experimenting on her so they can control the infection and stop it from spreading wildly. Infecting Tearju.. it could be a genuine accident, the blonde underestimating just how infectious the pervy curse/spell/virus is. (Maybe they test some breast milk? I think since that was the vector in the Index cast introduction.) Or maybe Nabiki uses it as a method to make her more loyal...
If I remember Tearju's focus is on biology so it even makes sense that she could do something with the curse if it works through such matters. Hmmm.. could be funny if she actually manages to isolate the curse/virus somehow. Maybe she can create variations of it? Like a version specializing in booty, one that gives an even greater libido boost, maybe a loli-version in an attempt to "fix" Yami in case she gets infected.
SBO: I think you could go multiple directions here. Maybe have the Bimbo Outbreak attempt to overcome her resistance and slowly working its way through. So at first she just infects, then maybe gets a bit bouncier, maybe gets a bimbo voice in the back of her head?
Or have it fuck up the spell somehow like Magnaking said. Normal Asuna with Bimbo body? Maybe Bimbo Asuna with her normal form? Oh, why not make it so that if she activates her Pactio, all the anti-magic goes in the sword so she instantly goes full bimbo?
Actually a good question, does this Bimbo transformation screw with the girl's pactios somehow?
As for how she finds out.. in case you don't want one of them to just slip up... hmmmm.. maybe.. they run into Chamo? And Asuna uses him to eavesdrop on the others under threat of pain? Could also explain how this curse affects him...
