Story: SBO Negima

 

There was a lot more nervous energy surrounding Ayaka and Shizuna while on this impromptu trip to the library than Negi was comfortable with. Still, he could trust the both of them, with his life if necessary - if they thought it was better for him not to know, then it was probably better if he didn't know the details.

Still, it was a little bit strange, and to be perfectly honest, he wouldn't be the boy genius that he was if his mind didn't at least try to figure out what it was. Oh, don't misunderstand that - this isn't his own assessment of his thinking process, but rather an objective one. Negi Springfield is stupid smart. He's actually a brilliant prodigy, smarter than many adults... though admittedly, that's not the highest bar to clear, now is it?

But in all seriousness, he's quite brilliant. A rapid learner, a keenly observant person, with his own blind spots, one must admit, but all the same...

"Are you sure I can't help?" he asked the pair, and their reactions tensed up a bit there.

"No, no, it's quite alright!" Ayaka said. "Ohoho! We already have a pretty good idea, Negi-sensei!"

"Quite so, quite so!" Shizuna said, wiping nervous sweat from her brow. "It would be better if you were still here, for the time being."

He furrowed his brow and continued walking along after them. It was odd, the pair weren't even saying anything about what was going on. Why did they need him here if they wouldn't tell him what it was about? Were they just trying to keep him busy so the rest of the class - 

Aha! That must be it. Yes, that fits nicely. The rest of the class must be preparing a surprise for him! It couldn't be anything naughty - Shizuna would not support it, and nor would Ayaka. So it must be something nice. A surprise of some sort, that they were preparing for him, and these two were the ones trusted to keep him distracted.

Wait, hold on, if that was the case they'd come up with something, wouldn't they? No, hold on... If they came up with a problem to distract him, then there was a real risk he'd propose a solution right away. Then they'd need to come up with a new problem for him to solve, one that would allow them total control over how long they kept his attention! Yes, it was probably something like that, wasn't it? No problem at all would be impossible to solve by definition, while a problem would have a solution, and there was a real risk he might find that solution!

Or maybe he was overthinking it...? That was also entirely possible, plausible even. Oh dear. He should not leap to conclusions, should he? Examine the evidence, come up with alternative scenarios. But then again, how could he? There wasn't enough information for him to work from!

Fortunately, some further evidence seemed to be arriving now, for the group had rounded the corner - and run into some other members of their class.

"Ah...? Nodoka?" he said. "Chachamaru? My word, it's quite the unorthodox pairing, isn't it?"

"We're not dating!" Nodoka said, a little too forcefully. "I mean, that's not what you meant, is it?"

"Ohohoho, adorable as ever, aren't you Nodoka?" Ayaka asked. "Alright, why don't you come with us, the more the merrier, would you not agree?"

"Ahem, Mister Negi, would you mind?" Miss Shizuna asked. She produced the same noise muffling earmuffs as before and put them on his head, which did rather reinforce the idea that they were planning some sort of surprise for him. Negi sighed as they turned their backs to him, making sure to cover their mouths so they could not lip read. He'd have to pretend to be oblivious later on, but he could only hope he was up to the task.

The moment the earmuffs went on, the valley girl erupted from all four of their lips.

"Like, omigod, you two are total bimbo whores as well?" MIss Shzuna giggled. "Shut the fuck up, what do you look like?"

"Oh, we're totally empty headed whores," Nodoka said into her palm. "Huge boobies that wanna be played with and -"

Nodoka herself turned completely scarlet and stopped talking. Quite understandable really.

"Um, like, it seems like we're in control when nobody else can, like, hear us!" Ayaka giggled. "Um, I bet if Negi closed his eyes, the four of us would get huuuuuge boobies and stupid sexy butts!"

"No bet!" Chachamaru tittered vacantly. "Like, I really wanna see it now. What does that sexy teacher look like? She's already got a hu~uge rack as it is!"

"Oh, she's super fuckable, you wouldn't believe it," Ayaka said. "Titties spilling out all over the place, any guy that didn't get hard just being in the same room as her? Not got a pulse, take 'em to a doctor, quick as you can!"

"Mmm, I really wanna, like, pour honey over them and have you girls lick it off!" Shizune said, then pulled her hand away from her mouth and reached back to take the earmuffs off. "Alright, girls!" she said, and that was a first. None of them had heard her sound actually upset before. Normally she's a fairly easygoing person. But none of them could really blame her for being, shall we say, upset under the circumstances. She'd just said something very embarrassing because of a curse! "Let's find what we came for! Have either of you made any progress?"

"No, I cannot say that we have," Chachamaru said, as Nodoka had lost the power of speech. "It is proving difficult, but now that you are here, we may be able to make some progress."

"Of course, of course!" Ayaka said, standing there with her hands on her hips, but she couldn't stop herself from trembling with embarrassment as well. Oh, the things she had said just then!

"By the way, have either of you seen Haruna?" Chachamaru asked, causing Nodoka to make a cute little 'meep'. "It is our belief that she is possibly causing trouble."

"One problem at a time!" Shizuna said. "If we let ourselves get distracted - well, I don't think I have to tell you."

It was better if she didn't. Nonetheless, that was something else Ayaka had to worry about. So Haruna was under the influence of this curse as well? That was, in essence, the absolute worst case scenario for all of them! It wasn't hard to imagine what had happened. She'd found out, slipped away from these two, and they were behaving too much like airheads to do much of anything about her while Haruna slipped off to do heaven only knows what!

"Alright then, girls! Let's get moving!" Shizuna clapped her hands. "Alright! Now, as I recall, the curses section is down this way! Negi, please follow after us and don't lose sight of any of us, even for a moment! Chachamaru, Nodoka, I'm going to need you to both engage in your rapid reading skills to help us search. Ayaka, help keep Nodoka motivated, that girl is really shy."

"Of course, ma'am!" Ayaka happily chirped. Alright! This was something! It was definitely a better situation than they'd been in so far!

Haruna was still a concern, of course, but under the circumstances... One problem at a time! First, find a solution to the bigger problem, then head out to deal with Haruna before she made things worse!
