Discussion: Sailor Moon Titnosis, UY Dream Jumper, Normality of Kyon
Sailor Moon Titnosis : I was honestly kind of hoping someone else would do an addition before this came up again, picking a "villain" for the big titted team to fight. Oh well! Who would you rather it be? I'm most familiar with Motoko, obviously, but I'm trying to break out of familiar territory here. Who would you rather it be, and walk me through our tought process.
UY Dream Jumper:
Let's focus in on Ryu's dream, and Ataru's attempts to shape it. I think he'll find it a bit of a struggle, but then again he might be helped along by the fact that he's pushing things in a direction she already kind of wants.
Normality of Kyon: So many good options, I can't choose. Uh, having Michiru and Yuki start to behave more like Haruhi certainly has some potential. It could also end very badly... So, how do you think such a thing should be handled?

For Titnosis, I think Medusa is the most interesting choice. A good actor, sneaky and having a unusual powerset. She also comes with Croma pre-packaged and mister/misses "I don't know how to deal with this" can be quite amusing. Plus the gender confusion.
ReplyDeleteI had actually thought of making an update myself using Ika Musume as the villain, but I could not quite think of how to do it even if it would be hilarious.

Sorry for the double post earlier. I was on the phone....
ReplyDeleteOkay, for some more detail: Soul Eater's Medusia is basically a mad scientist slash evil witch who uses weird experiments to acchieve greater power while disguising herself as a school nurse in canon Soul Eater. Very ruthless, perfectly willing to commit murder or torture. She has a power that all witches have which is called Soul Protect. It hides the nature of her witchiness from all other beings, allowing her to live as a normal person without being discovered. Her powers are basically a lot like Orochimaru from Naruto. Houses snakes inside her body, can use them for various effects or to possess people and force them to serve her on threat of them killing their hosts. Highly skilled at hand to hand combat and has a unusual ability to manipulate direction and force of movement and attacks. (It is notable that in Soul Eater, the magic of witches makes them automatically go mad with power and creates a great desire to bring destruction and chaos. Very few witches can resist this effect, so this may have at least put her on the path to evilness in canon.)
Has a child whose sex is basically a mystery. (The sex is never revealed, though the manga points towards female while I think the anime points towards male....) This child, called Crona, is pretty weird in the head, with a mix of psycho and wallflower who has no clue what he/she is supposed to do in any given situation. His/her standard words for anything new is „I don't know how to deal with...“ Crona is pretty good at killing things though. Has a sort of living familiar made of black blood inside his/her body whose name is Ragnarok. Ragnarok bullies Chroma and is generally an ass, but seems to be doing it in an attempt to make Chroma thoughen up and grow up. Or at least it seems like he cannot stand others screwing around with Croma from what I remember.
For the other choices... I have no clue of RWBY, someone else will have to give a information on Cinder Fall. I only know that she wants to kill all of mankind by being eaten by soulless monsters.
Fubuki is the little sister of the strongest psychokinetic in the Onepunch Man setting. Has a huge complex over not being even close to her sister in power and fearing that she will not live up to her goals. She has built an organization of various less impressive heroes to work together with her to raise in ranking. I don't have too much on this character too... mostly she seems to be built on her desire to get stronger and that sister complex?
For Normality of Kyon, I mean, I don't mind a bit of playing around with the acting like Haruhi thing, but I suggest being careful? Haruhi is the kind of character that is very much.... to be enjoyed in small doses I guess? She is also a bit of an ass at times. Making her way of being normal could lead to lots of trouble? Uh, maybe have her acting be now the equivalent of being formal and polite? Would explain the waiter of all people acting like that? If this is overdone, I couldn't buy Kyon failing to get what the earrings do much longer.
First off, to talk about Fubuki, more accurate description of her character is that she's got a desire to become stronger, but it's a desire tempered by a certainty that no ammount of growth will ever put her in the same league as her sister, which drives her to constantly look for different ways to get stronger, by creating an organization to give her strength of numbers to suppliment her power, when she discovers how OP Saitama was challenging him to four on four duel to try and get him in her organisation while pulling the trick of making it a video game duel (Not realizing Saitama would bring King who was a video game ace), and more.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I have to bring up a villain not on the list, and probably not a great fit for this phase of the story, but at some point a confrontation with Mighty Endowed makes a crazy ammount of sence. Basically Mighty Endowed was a very limited apperance Young Justice villian who was transformed into a catgirl with large breasts that could glow with a hypnotic light. She was a bit of a joke though becasues the one power she didn't get was the ability to stand up despite how much her chest weighed.

And as far as Dream Jumper goes, yes Ryu does have the most room to play around with, especially with all the places where Ryu starts fluctuating between punching Ataru and accepting his help.
Well, regarding Sailor Moon Titnosis, someone just wrote a fellow-up picking Cinder from RWBY.
ReplyDeleteDin't expect that...
DeleteI guess it is time to read the RWBY wiki.
So what are you going to do Lumitiel? Continue from the Cinder Fall update? While I don't know much of RWBY, it is a really great update and I would love to see what you would do to follow it up^^
ReplyDeleteLum helped some with my entry so I'll be more than willing to do the same.
