What to do with Parallel Ranma

So, I've blacklisted the Parallel Ranma 1/2 thread from voting consideration. That leaves 35 voting points in the ether, alongside 56 tiebreaker points, not including the points I should have added for the last update it got. I feel terrible about that, and would like to divide those up. The real question is... How?

The main suggestion given in the previous post was "divide them between the top five," but I feel that does a bit of a disservice to the voter(s) for the thread.

I would like to divide those points up among, say, five other threads. So I would like to ask: Where do we think they should go? In particular I'm asking anyone that's voted for it. Where would you like me to redistribute those points?

  1. Being probably the one (most likely the only one) who voted up PR1/2 (sorry for not realizing that it was not fun for you to work with), here are a few of threads the votes could be used for instead:

    Sexy Furinkan Girls
    Titnosis Kasumi
    Curvy Akane
    Pervert's HandBook
    Dojo of Perversion

Hopefully these threads are more to your liking (as in not going to cause a breakdown in writing something for them)

    1. This seems like the best idea. if you're killing one ranma thread, distributing the boost to the top/other ranma threads would make sense.

I've never even read the story in question, but redistributing the votes to the general 'top five', seems like a bad idea. Because it's very unlikely to reflect the wants or intentions of the voters.

I'd say, you should either redistribute the votes to other Ranma-based stories, (which if the above Anon is accurate, is exactly what you should do).

Or, if you have an absolutely burning desire to be true to the voters, you could go back and recalculate previous votes since the last update, moving the points to another story that they voted for at the time. Although even saying that sounds rather tiring.

  3. Splitting the votes among other choices from the thread's primary supporter seems the most fair, other than perhaps just dividing them up at random across all threads (which would obviously be a big hassle to set up).

I don't recall for sure whether Parallel Ranma was one of the many threads I voted for early on in order to get it on your thread list, but I apologize if it was.
