Discussion: Worst Demon Hunter + Ryunosuke Alone
Worst Demon Hunter
Ryunosuke Alone
Worst Demon Hunter: Man, but that's a tough choice. I can easily see continuing from any of those options. I guess focusing on the cake is a good idea, but I can't remember what I intended to do with it exactly. Any suggestions for that?
Ryunosuke Alone: Gotta go with the double date option on this one. Is there anything in particular you'd all like to see happen on that?

There's tons of ways for Ryunosuke Alone to go of course. I don't know if it should be sooner or later, but one thought on how Ryu and Ran might wind up doing a bit of legitimate bonding could start with Ryu talking about how while she's glad her jerk of a father is gone, she's upset she can't beat him up now - This gets her talking about "That straw doll hammer thing." That of course leads Ran doing a bit with "The trick of that is controlling your force so it takes exactly 100 blows to drive the nail into place, and you'll get your best effect if you pause every ten blows to chant "For thy heart, for thy heart, who hast wronged me."
ReplyDeletePart of the fun with Ran is knowing when to have her play the Girly mask to the hilt, and when to have the mask slip a little or a lot.
As for WDH and the Cake. . . Well of course Chaos magic is unpredictible, though the fact it's being folded into Magic aimed at amplifying the desireability of the Cake, it might cause that to spread in other ways, so the eaters either have amplified desires or an amplified desierability.
ReplyDeleteThat's by best off the cuff guess anyways.
It looks like the cake was Shinobu's attempt to cope with Motoko's necklace, which is supposed to detect when someone has had a demon feeding on them. So perhaps the cake is meant to do the opposite: feed Motoko energy so that she no longer has any energy missing and the necklace will stop reacting with it. As to what Su's addition does to the batter, I have no idea. Perhaps make it swell up to colossal size?
ReplyDeleteHad some thoughts I'd like to share for both of these.
ReplyDeleteWorst Demon Hunter: Motoko eats cake, and then trips balls. When she wakes up, the inn is in disarray and the other occupants have all fallen under a spell of some sort. Motoko reverses the spell, little realising that (under the cake's influence) she's the one that did it in the first place.
Ryunosuke Alone: Ataru is all for setting the two of them up (Ryu and Ran) because "girl on girl action is hot". Initially, Lum decides to try preventing that by talking to Ran, but after Ran is really obnoxious during their conversation Lum decides that it would be much funnier to let it happen.
