This new world she had arrived in was rather a strange place indeed. Well. She knew that the moment she arrived and everything seemed so unnaturally detailed. That was the only way she could describe it. As if someone had decided to take simple little things and add tiny unnecessary bumps and scratches, little details that didn’t have any purpose at all.
Like the outfit she was wearing while she leaned against the door. A miko’s robes. She could identify them easily enough. Even if there were very slight gradations in the fabric, some parts slightly lighter than other parts and other parts slightly - almost imperceptibly - darker.
“Just a tiny skootch over to the left,” her new friend said, leaning back with her camera in an attempt to find the best possible angle for the picture. Rei nodded and leaned in that direction, unaware that she was revealing quite a lot of cleavage from this angle but perfectly aware that her new friend was giving her looks that Rei didn’t particularly care for. “Perfect!” And flash went the camera. Though Rei had to admit she’d never quite seen a camera with a design like that. It almost seemed to be something out of some science fiction movie, even if she did a few mental calculations to try to imagine what it would look like in her own reality.
No. There was something else strange about it all. That peculiar feeling eating away at the back of her mind. She could see that this place had perverts, as many as back home. She could see that perfectly well. Even Kotori was not immune to the effects, and yet there was something bothering her and she couldn’t feel her way around the problem.
Feel. Rei stopped while adopting a new pose (leaning on the desk and casting a smoky look over her shoulders that would have made a forest burst into fire) and concentrated. She couldn’t feel it. All of her life, Rei had trained to be a miko. She healed impurities, performed exorcisms, cast out wicked spirits and all of it revolved around her ability to feel evil.
Which she absolutely could not feel. Not a drop. Not a trace of malevolence or wickedness or, heaven help her, the perversion she could see in people’s behaviours. If not for that she might have maybe believed this was some sort of paradise. A place without evil. But now she was starting to think of something different. She stuck her leg up on a table, revealing quite a significant amount of her thigh and gave a disapproving look at Kotori. There was definitely a look in her eye hiding wicked, unclean thoughts about Rei’s innocent body. She could see it. Sure. It wasn’t as visually obvious as she was used to, but she could see it all the same.
But… She couldn’t feel it. Couldn’t feel the wickedness building within this girl at all, couldn’t feel the slightest trace of anything at all. It was as if someone had switched her powers off, or maybe it was something much more horrifying.
Maybe, just maybe, this place was so full of evil and perversion that it was completely masked. Maybe Rei couldn’t sense anything evil or wicked from Kotori because she couldn’t see a drop in an ocean. Maybe this reality was the source of the building corruption she had been experiencing in her own world.
“Would you please put - Put this on?” Kotori asked, lust virtually dripping from every little move and sound she made. The girl swallowed nervously, holding up a leotard and a ridiculously tiny red skirt that Rei would never be seen dead in! “It would make you look sooo intimidating.”
“Right,” Rei said. Charms would almost certainly not work. So. She did the only reasonable thing she could under the circumstances. She beat a hasty retreat. Some might call it cowardly. Some might say she should have stood to fight. But Rei was no fool! She could tell this was a losing battle, and now that she had a better understanding of what she was up against… Well then! She could stand as the sole vanguard of her own reality! She would stand watch to keep back the tides of perversion with which this twisted, far too detailed land was trying to corrupt her own world! She would fight on her own ground, and she would - above all else - prevail!
“H-hey! Wait up! Where are you going?!” Kotori yelled, and honestly it was a decent point. Where indeed? Rei didn’t stop to think about it, nor did she slow down a single iota. Instead she picked up the pace. Instead, she began to recognise little landmarks here and there. A benefit of the buildings looking different from the details, perhaps? She knew exactly where she was now! That was where she had met those boys, and just up ahead - Just over there -
She dove in, and moments later landed on her rear end. She patted herself down, and looked up just in time to see a girl land on her, with her head stuck right inside Rei’s cleavage.
“Mmmf!” Kotori cried, arms flailing about, no doubt trying to search for something to grope on Rei’s innocent, non-perverted body! With a scowl and a rough grab of her hair, Rei pulled her out and Kotori took a deep, deep lungful of air. “Oh, thank goodness. I can breathe again. I thought I was going to die.” She blinked, looked around and tears began to well up in her eyes. “Oh no! I must have suffered brain damage from oxygen deprivation! Everything looks two dimensional!”
“And what’s wrong with two dimensional?” Rei snarled, pushing Kotori off with one hand and slapping a charm to her forehead with another. “Perversion, begone!”
There was a satisfying little crackle of energy on Kotori’s head, and she collapsed to her knees, staring up at Rei without a trace of perversion in her expression. Alright. Rei turned her eyes back towards the portal. Nobody else seemed to be following her, and - And she could sense evil again. This was good. Okay! Now that she had captured one of the enemies, maybe she could extract a little information from her? Yes… Tie her up, whip her a little bit, maybe she’d talk after a good hard spanking…
“You’re Rei Hino,” Kotori gasped, and now Rei really was suspicious. The girl had known her name before. What else did she know. “You’re Rei Hino and this is the Hikawa Shrine. I am sitting in the Hikawa Shrine, scene of more orgies than a Roman counselor's office.”
“What did you just say?!” Rei snapped, and Kotori - to Rei’s rather great surprise - Did not so much as flinch. Instead her head tilted just a little bit, and her suddenly more expressive (yet less detailed) face seemed to twitch nervously all at once.
“But if you’re Rei Hino, and this is Hikawa Shrine…” Kotori mumbled. “Then that must mean… That I… Oh, GOD! NO! That’s TOO TERRIBLE TO CONTEMPLATE!”
“I - I - I wrote myself into a self-insert fanfiction!”
At which point, Rei faceplanted for reasons that completely baffled her. Usually that happened when someone had said something intended as bad humour, or something so completely stupid that it defied all reason. And yet, the girl’s words really didn’t mean anything to her. Self-insert? Fanfiction? What the hell was she talking about?!
“Oh no, no, no!” Kotori said, clasping her cheeks and shaking her head. “This can’t be happening! I can’t be a Mary Sue! I’m too flawed!”
“Mary Sue?” Rei asked, confusion rising once again. “Who is Mary Sue? Your leader? A grunt unit?”
“Then again,” Kotori said to herself, rising to her feet and pacing back and forth right in front of Rei, “if those flaws get emphasised in such a manner that they cease being flaws and start to become traits that make my character seem artificially awesome, then - Then I would be a Mary Sue! Oh gosh, what am I thinking?! Does it even matter if I’m a Mary freaking Sue?! I’m a fictional character to begin with! This is the kind of existential crisis philosophers have wet dreams about!”
“I don’t wanna hear about any wet dreams!” Rei snapped, latching onto the one and only thing that made any sense at all in Kotori’s little outburst. “Now! You feel like telling me what the blazes is going on around here, or do I have to get the handcuffs?”
Kotori nervously swallowed, and though Rei couldn’t see it, a thought did pass through the real world girl’s mind. The thought went something like this: Fictional or not, I’m gonna get laid by the Senshi. Screw the existential crisis, I’m gonna enjoy this!
- The girls are interrupted by someone else from the shrine.
- Rei interrogates Kotori. The real world girl enjoys it.
- Kotori runs off, eager to meet the other characters.
- The next morning the other girls approach the shrine, intending to recruit Rei.
- Kotori's presence causes something really quite odd to happen
- Something else
I really like it!!! Hope that Kotori get her Senshi Orgies!!!!
