In a rather rare position today, NTR 1/2 has progressed a fair amount since I last contributed to it. How interesting!

A pair of very interesting threads updating today. Very interesting ideas indeed.

Voting: Open Until 5th January

You know, I've been promising for a while now to change the rules to allow threads to rise up to the top a little bit quicker. I figure it's about time. As of this week, I will update two threads under modified rules. A new year seems like a good time to implement these changes.

Firstly, the one with the most standard votes will receive an update, then have its value reset to 0. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker score will determine which of those with tied points gets the update.

Secondly, after doing the first one the thread with the most tiebreaker points receives an update. The tie in this instance being broken by how many votes it got. In this instance, the tiebreaker points (and not the vote total) will be reset to 0.

For example: Based on the way the table starts out and assuming no further votes over the course of the week, the first winner would be Love Pendant Usagi and the second would be Sentai Hina. I think this should help get your favourite threads updated a little bit faster, right?

So I did this, and had a moment of inspiration. I think it was a pretty clever way to do it, but I'm sure there will probably be some complaint or other about the name or costume. If you have a better suggestion, please do feel free to suggest it. I am all ears. It makes it hard to type, but it does make me a good listener.

Keeping this short so that the updates keep coming. I think the options may convince others to push it forward, probably. I'll try to do Rosario before Christmas, but we'll see how that turns out.

Since I didn't specify Kallen's, I think either Suzaku or Nina would be the best next choices. I kinda think it might be cute to have Shirley give Lelouch's present. Though I'm not certain what anyone else is getting anyone at this point.

Discussion Sexy Secret Santa

I've been considering this, and I think a poll for this is probably not that great an idea. I essentially shut myself out of continuing from a pretty solid episode continuation in lieu of following the poll, and I'd rather not do that again.

So instead, I'd like to hear suggestions for where you think the story could go from here. No deadline. If I like the ideas, particularly for gifts, then I will consider them and try to write up an episode. If anyone makes a substantial contribution to any of these, then I'll try to write a follow up as quickly as I can.

I may even - time permitting - contribute to the UY one that Drake started. We'll see how I feel about that in the coming days.

To begin with, I should probably explain those polls to the right. The first is for the Romantic Comedy Manga thread, which I started three years ago (goodness but time flies), with the intention that they allow for more original writing. I feel like I should at least try to write more of the introductions for these threads, because some of them could be really interesting. So. Pick one. Whichever seems most interesting to you.

The second is a list of the five Cross C collaboration stories that were closest to the bottom of the table when the poll was established. So make your choice, and I'll write it. Though I strongly suspect it will come down to either KNT or CSG.

I think it's probably about time for me to declare the Christmas season double dip open! The rules are the same as they usually are for each week, but the difference is that this time the top two threads will both get updated during that following week.
