Discussion: Tainted Gestalt + Akane's Titnosis

Another really interesting pair of threads to win, this week. Let's talk about them a little!

Tainted Gestalt
Akane's Titnosis

Last time we left off with Tainted Gestalt, we were focusing on Ataru's first racing day and Shinji waking up. Should we continue from there, or perhaps focus our attention on someone else waking up a few hours later? Plenty of possibility for this thread, as always.

As for Akane with her titnosis ability, let's see, according to the latest thread she's accidentally put the fathers and Kasumi under. I think it would be more fun to keep her in denial over the obvious clothing problem this power has, but as for the actual direction she goes with it that's kinda tricky. Tell them to just leave her alone, or maybe try to help them overcome their own personal problems in a clumsy way? Yeah, that's probably about right.

As always I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

  1. For Akane: Titnosis, truthfully I like 2-3 a lot. Having her tell them everything is normal and borrow some of Kasumi's too small clothing leaves Ranma the only one at the house who could say anything is strange...and everyone would look at him as the stranger. Funny setup, especially with him distracted by Nabiki's machinations. "Some girls just grow fast, Ranma. Why you might get a final growth spurt anytime too." Especially could end embarrassingly funny if a suspicious Ranma investigates.

Of course if it's 3, she could encourage her dad to get back into martial arts and shape up, or genma to get a job, or Kasumi to be more outgoing, like her. Which all could end in hillarious tears. :P

    Bouncy Bouncy Titnosis.

    1. Any of what either of you have suggested would probably be fine, I think. She’s still just coming to grips with the situation, so she’ll presumably continue making mistakes for a while. (And who wouldn’t in that situation?) Should there also be a scene with Ranma and Nabiki at the Kunos’?

As for Gestalt, I’m sure whatever approach you choose will be fine. Or maybe a bit of both? Perhaps check in with them again briefly and then switch to a couple of the others?
