Discussion: Cocknosis Geass + UY First Impressions
Haven't really had the chance to think about the direction for these two quite yet, so I'm leaving this one fairly open until I can get some time to concentrate on it. What do you think should happen?
What does Kallen intend to do to Cornelia exactly? and does the switch in her head make her more accepting to experimenting in new sexual ways? perhaps a Yuri/interrogation? or you can show the threesome with Kallen, Euphemia, and Suzaku. And perhaps C.C. helping Shirley accept her new bust?
As for First Impressions, this is kind of at a point that calls for a Tag race ending that'll determine a whole lot of things going forward. Or maybe an in media res episode mixing the final days match with flashbacks to setup events - Ataru and Lum talking about what they want, maybe a scene or two with Oyuki stepping in talking about the wording of some of the rules, maybe Shinobu wandering to Neptune - I've actually got an image of a scene where that starts with her carging in in response to some suggestive sounds, seeing Ataru just giving Lum a shoulder rub, then discovering that during some conversation earlier Ataru had shared with Lum a somewhat embarasing story. Just some rough ideas. And long term, I'd say that if the story doesn't sync up with the way the origional justified Lum moving into Ataru's closet, then the options would seem to be for Lum to win and move Ataru to her closet (Kiciking off a more outer space alien centric story), or some big legal entanglement kicking off that forces Lum to set up her own residence in Tomobiki seperate from Ataru's. Or of course some external force winds up interfering and throwing a major curveball.
Good ideas, Drake. I also think that Shinobu should be involved in the next chapter, or perhaps the one after it (if the next chapter still takes place on Neptune). Also, like I mentioned earlier, I think Shinobu should be quite repressed, thinking to herself that she's a good girl when she's really quite eager to get into Ataru's pants. Therefore if/when she finds out about Ataru and Lum's affair (and maybe also that Ataru's slept with Benten... and I'm sure he'll eventually also sleep with Oyuki...) she'll be hit with all sorts of contradictory thoughts and desires, considering that early in the manga there are quite a few scenes where Ataru tries to get fresh with Shinobu only for her to ward him off.
As for long term, in this continuity Benten might also enroll in Tomobiki high along with Lum (and Ran), depending on how things go.
