Story: HHL Sailor Moon

This development was a troubling one. Sailor Moon, was it? One of the old guard reincarnated in a new world that was run by perverts. Weird, there was no Senshi of the Moon. Beryl snorted in derision: Where was she when ECCHI came rolling into town? Probably on her back getting railed by one of their experts in seduction. One look at that tight ass, splendid legs, cute face... Beryl felt dizzy all of a sudden and forced herself out of it.

"That girl is exuding as much perverted power as I am," she suddenly said, surprising even herself a little bit. "Hrmph. That's quite the troubling matter. Dealing with ECCHI is bad enough, but if she has taken to the new way of things so readily as well..."

Where normally this strange newcomer would have been her immediate priority, doing so would risk tipping her hand against an organisation she knew almost nothing about. Better the devil you know, because at least you understand how best to deal with them. In that case they had little choice but to ignore Sailor Moon - mostly - and focus their efforts on subverting ETCHI from the inside.

Or... Or they could take a quite different approach.

"Jadeite," Beryl began. "How difficult do you think it would be to enact a number of schemes that implicate ECCHI in draining energy?"

Jadeite did not respond right away. He was too busy staring at Beryl's bust. Well, this dress did have quite a low clingy neckline. Still! She needed him to focus! Beryl coughed, then snapped her fingers and repeated her question. This time she got an answer from him.

"Not too difficult," Jadeite said. "Off the top of my head, I can think of a few schemes. With deeper thought, more still should occur."

"Examples," Beryl commanded.

Jadeite gulped. "Fetish clothing enchanted to drain energy when someone lusts after the wearer," he began. "Exotic candy that includes an aphrodisiac ingredient. Enchanted sex toys. Youma disguised as nurses infiltrating hospitals. Fitness coaches -"

"Thank you, that's quite enough," Beryl smirked. Yes... With the right kind of tweaking that might well work. "I should be more explicit with my intentions to make sure you don't accidentally make things worse for us. I desire to cause a deliberate rift between Sailor Moon and ECCHI. Turn them against one another. Make it seem as though we have already successfully infiltrated them - or at the very least make them think that they have an agenda beyond making sure everyone has a good time."

Jadeite bowed. Or rather, he bowed to Beryl's boobs. "I understand completely, Mistress Beryl. I shall take great pleasure in turning our two enemies against one another." He hesitated a moment. "Would it also please you to take actions that cast Sailor Moon in a suspicious light to ECCHI as well?"

"No," Beryl said quite firmly. "Do you know what causes conspiracy theorists to emerge, Jadeite? It's simple. Either you have a lot of control and an extremely paranoid personality, or very little control at all and a sense that someone powerful is keeping things from you. There is no question in my mind that if they felt Sailor Moon was acting suspiciously, they would investigate. On the other hand, any attempt they make to seem less suspicious to her can be easily manipulated to make it seem suspicious."

Or to put it another, simpler way: Sailor Moon would probably not have the resources to properly investigate an organisation that was capable of taking over multiple universes, but they would damned certainly have the resources necessary to investigate her.

On top of that consider what would happen when Sailor Moon did investigate. An organisation that size can't possibly exist without something shady happening somewhere. If she found it, she'd be even more suspicious of them.

"Make sure your schemes cannot be traced back to us," Beryl warned. "I don't doubt that at least a few of them will be stopped by ECCHI, but that's fine. So long as Sailor Moon catches wind of what's going on for a handful, it should be enough to set the wheels in motion."

"Will this not waste opportunities to gather energy?" he asked.

"On the contrary," Beryl said dismissively. "The other three Generals have already been dispatched to whole other worlds to seek opportunities to gather energy... And information. I have no intention of rushing this. If we do this, we do it properly."

You stall for something so trivial? Metallia hissed in the back of her mind.

"I stall because our enemy is more than merely a magical moon kingdom," Beryl firmly, politely corrected. "Think of what it must take to rule multiple universes. Then realise they do it with the power of ero rather than any kind of military action. This is no ordinary enemy. It cannot be underestimated. Who knows what they have faced in other worlds, other realms? Why, they might even know a way to destroy you. Permanently."

By seducing me into oblivion, perhaps?

"Perhaps. I have heard of some rather unfortunate and creative fates befalling those who oppose them," Beryl calmly replied. "This is what is known as an out of context problem. A lion seems mighty until it encounters a dragon. Until we know what we're dealing with, we cannot say that even your resurrection would guarantee us total victory, the same way it might if we only had Sailor Moon to be concerned with."

Beryl waved her hand over the crystal ball in front of herself. Within it, she saw what the other her saw. The woman she used to be before awakening to her true past self. Mio was puttering around within ECCHI's office, working hard and researching their history as best she could. Beryl grinned. That's right, girl. You get that research done. Memorise it. Commit it to memory. And then Beryl would cast her magic spell and extract those memories for her own personal use.

It's a funny thing. People view lust as the sin of sexual desire, but it's more accurate to say that it's the sin of impatience. The need to have it, right here and right now without waiting. It got all twisted around by historical context, but a true mistress of lust does not feel that impatience. Instead, they are more capable of inflicting it upon others.

Have you ever felt a need to be somewhere, do something but you don't quite know what it is? Mio Kuraki was going through that currently. It's quite the pitiable experience, isn't it? To not realise that you are the reincarnation of an ancient evil, that said evil had used its boundless magics to separate their existence from your own, to not realise that you were effectively a pawn in their wicked schemes...

And yet there she was. Sitting in the local headquarters for ECCHI. First day on the job, and she'd spent basically the entire first hour absorbing as much information as possible about the organisation's history. The universe they'd started in, who was in charge, how they tended to introduce themselves to other worlds, basic information on perverted power that she'd never have guessed at.

All of which was being funnelled directly to Queen Beryl. The most perfect spy was one who did not know that this is what she was.

Ever since the takeover Mio had a strange relationship with perverted power. She was a bit shy and withdrawn herself. Too interested in academics, the occult and archaeology to make proper use of it. But she was extremely powerful in its use. Sometimes too powerful for her own good. She'd attract attention to herself like flies to honey - well, actually that old saying was incorrect as flies like vinegar more than honey, but you get the point - and was only ever able to safely resolve those events because she was simply so powerful in perverted power that it overwhelmed anyone who got a bit too handsy. Be they man or woman.

Maybe that's why she felt so drawn here? She'd finally realised that if anyone could help her control this power, it must be ECCHI...

"Pardon me, are you Mio Kuraki?"

Mio jumped out of her skin at the sound of her own name. On turning around she found Saeko Mizuno looking at her with a calm and gentle smile.

"H-hello there!" she nervously bowed. "It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"Likewise," Saeko said. "Mio. I would like to give you a rare opportunity. On looking at your file, you have quite the impressive resume, and I think we're going to need someone like you to help us with a very special case."

A special case? Her?

"You'll be acting as my assistant," Saeko continued. "It's a very unusual one for a first timer, but it should be an excellent learning opportunity for you. Her codename is Sailor Moon."

 1. Back to the fight, Usagi wins by herself through judicial application of her new abilities and perverted power.
 2. Tuxedo Mask arrives out of nowhere to save the day.
 3. Actually, Ami shows up to assist instead.
 4. Something else
