Discussion: Tainted Gestalt, Rei Swarm, NGE Oversynch and UY Splitter
After very careful and weighty consideration, I've decided to make some rule changes to make things a bit fairer. Firstly, the 50 point rule stays. I like having that hard lock and this week kind of shows why - We had two threads hit fifty this week. It was going to keep on escalating so it desperately needed the cutoff.
However, instead of resetting "Tiebreaker" points to 0 when a thread "wins" the vote point total for the week, those are staying the same. I'll also be renaming tiebreaker to "priority" points as of this week.
Additionally, there was a strange generic vote that wasn't so much for a specific thread, more like a "please do something with this series." I'm intrigued by that and willing to give it a try, but please do not take advantage of that kindness.
I'll ignore any other such requests for the immediate future, I can hardly keep up with too many series at once. Instead of putting it in as a vote, I intend to look into the series and put up some fatesplits. Cross C, if I do that and you find any of the ideas interesting, I'll do a followup to whichever one you find the most interesting rather than take the vote. Does that sound fair?
Onto the discussion for this week's winners.
