I rather would like to continue Mitsune's investigation from there. She might conclude it has something to do with Keitaro's arrival and keep a closer eye on him for the time being. Or perhaps she decides to show some evidence to someone? Or asks questions of the other dorm residents about the situation?
In the meantime, Keitaro finds himself being put hard at work. While he does so, he lets his mind wander, perhaps even saying a few things out loud as well.
Question for Mitsune: would her investigation lead to more breast groping? :)

"why not? its not like its normal for anyone to grope my breasts"
if the earrings make things absolutely normal. could they rewrite reality to the point of gender bender?
As written so far, they do not alter reality. Case in point: Mitsune found some tapes that did not show people groping each other like it was normal. So the earrings did not alter the past nor did they alter the tapes. It seems that just minds and memories are affected.
