Libra let out a sigh of relief, upon seeing Superhero lose that little skirmish. For a moment there was a bit of worry - quite justifiable really. After all, as potent as the Senshi were, that was the actual physical embodiment of Superheroes they were fighting. Think about that for a moment. Think about the blatant, absurd bullshit that superheroes can do when they're convinced they are fighting for a righteous cause.
Think of the power set. Think of the variety. If Order had been smarter about it, they would've let her use the full breadth and scope, and at this point Libra was starting to get concerned.
"I'm inviting hell upon myself here aren't I?" Libra pondered aloud, and nervously looked around. "Murphy? Are you there?"
Nothing answered but an echo. Deep breath now. Deep breath. THe best thing to do here is give as much power as you can to these two but - But there was still some resistance at this point. It was strange, peculiar even. There was definitely an element of corruption within them, but the two girls were still not accepting these gifts. Subconsciously rejecting them , most likely.
Which was a problem, of course, but the weird thing was that they were still getting some of it. In point of fact, they were getting a fair amount of power, somehow, despite clearly not being comfortable taking the power from Libra. No doubt caused by Superhero putting ideas in their heads.
Well, let's see what they -
"Is it my imagination," Uranus asked. "Or is your butt a bit... bigger than it was an hour ago?"
"You're usually more tactful than that," Neptune commented. "Then again, your own curves are more pronounced than normal as well."
Bugger.
"Perhaps there is something to what Superhero was trying to warn us about?" Neptune pondered, checking herself out and, Libra could tell, liking what she was seeing. "If Libra is trying to spread corruption, then -"
She stopped upon realising that Uranus was checking her out. She playfully slapped Uranus's arm and coughed to get her attention.
"Still," Uranus muttered. "What do we do about her?"
Superhero was still out cold. Small relief that it was. Neither of them figured they could restrain her with, well, pretty much anything, but all the same -
The air shimmered, and a new presence arrived. No less than Sailor Pluto herself had materialised in front of them.
"Oh, you'd think the Senshi of Time would be on time for the fight," Uranus quipped.
"Yes, yes, quite witty," Pluto sighed wearily. Then she stopped to take a proper look at the two of them. "What in the world happened to the two of you? New diet?"
"More like a new enemy that appears to be a total pervert," Uranus sniffed before Neptune could say anything. Pluto, in turn, looked at the unconscious form of Superhero where she lay and tilted her head.
Then nodded along as if completely seeing it.
"Alright then, so shall we interrogate her, or eliminate her here?" Pluto asked. Though, it was quite clear she wasn't turning her back on any of the three of them. It annoyed Uranus a little - but on reflection, she understood it entirely. The possibility existed that the two of them were being influenced by the enemy right now, as their bodies were clearly... abnormal.
Neither of them would turn their back on Pluto in this situation either. Nor was she allowing herself to be put in the middle of the three of them either, leaving herself an avenue of escape at all times. In all honesty, the two of them could definitely respect that, otherwise they might do unspeakable things to that... hot... tanned skinned beauty. So slender and pretty. Elegant, but in a different flavour than Neptune's. Where Neptune carried the grace of an ocean breeze, Pluto was more like a priestess. Where one was grace, the other was dignity. For one, elegance was an art, but for the other it was a discipline.
And both Neptune and Uranus were thinking the same general thing right now - how disciplined would she be with her clothes off and the two of them on either side of her...?
It was a fleeting thought, but also a persistent one. The two of them were Girlfriends, of course, and since Girlfriends had been corrupted - well, that meant every Girlfriend on the planet was randy as hell. Up for anything. Hey, you wanted that threesome with my best friend/sister? I'm up for it now. That kind of thing.
"I don't think she's the cause of this," Neptune gently corrected, trying to tear her eyes way from Pluto's legs. It was not easy. "Given her complaints and general behaviour..."
"Could be a bluff though," Uranus scratched her head. "You know, make us think it's something else causing..." She looked down at herself. "While it's actually her. I mean, this didn't start happening until she turned up, so...?"
"Is that so?" Pluto asked. "Or is it perhaps the case that you only noticed after you transformed?"
Ah! That was a good point actually. It was only really after they'd transformed that the effect took hold - which implied that the cause might actually be to do with their transformations...?
But not Pluto. Which is strange. Very strange. She's in her Sailor garb right now. Aha, now they're wondering what it could be, what it might be, and the only conclusion that they can possibly reach is Superhero after all. It's the wrong conclusion, but a logical one. It's how the human mind works, even when it's being dispassionate, even when it's trying to be entirely logical about the situation.
Without the full context, one can be led quite easily into recognising the wrong pattern to look for.
"Uuuuurgh~" Superhero groaned, rubbing her thighs and trying to push herself off the ground. "That felt really good~ No wonder everyone's getting so corrupted lately... Ooooh~"
Uranus had had enough. She stomped forward and reached out the flat of her hand to spank Superhero right on her pert bottom - only for Pluto to stop her at the last possible moment.
"And what, pray tell, were you about to do just now?" Pluto asked.
"I was gonna make her talk," Uranus said, staring at her in total disbelief. "You know, punish her for the bad girl that she is, and then - "
"You were going to spank her," Pluto said, pulling Uranus's hand away.
"Yeah, that's -" Uranus said, and suddenly frowned. "Was that weird? Was that a weird thing to be about to do?"
Pluto nodded, while watching Neptune very closely. Gauging her response.
"What do you think?" she asked quite pointedly.
"At the moment I thought it would be an ordinary means of extracting information," Neptune admitted. "It's only upon seeing your own reaction that I've grown concerned with my own."
You could feel the ellipses in the air. The little grunts of afterthought that the three of them had were a conversation unto themselves.
However... It was also enough of a distraction for Superhero to make her move - as she suddenly shot into the air and flew off, before any of the three of them could react.
======
It might not be the most heroic thing to do, retreating when confronting the enemy, but Superhero was no fool. She was not going to stay to fight a losing battle for no benefit. The others needed to be warned - and better still, she needed to be purified before their corruption, the corruption of that rotten scoundrel Libra, could take root within her soul and then -
And then... what? The thought made a chill shoot down her spine. Any that could be thought of as Superheroes might fall victim to this same corruption. Wouldn't that be a dreadful thing?
... Then again, the only Superheroes that seemed to be around on this planet were the Sailor -
Oh, that would be pretty bad then wouldn't it? Yipes. Imagine them being all horny all the time and using their hot feminine bodies to -
Shudder, shudder! Not gonna dwell on it, not gonna dwell on it! For now, she was putting distance between them, and she was pretty sure that they couldn't fly -
But they probably could track her movements through the air, if she wasn't careful. She might lead them right back to Order's Headquarters!
Therefore, she did the same thing that all Superheroes must eventually. She descended. Landed on terra firma, found herself a phone booth - and changed into her civilian guise! Behold, an ordinary glasses wearing girl wearing frumpy clothes, with her hair done up in an unflattered ponytail. Mikoto Chitsujō at your service!
Anyway, it didn't take long for her to see the three girls in short skirts jumping high through the air, leaping across buildings while scouring for her. Good luck with that! She couldn't look less like her normal self.
Which gave her all the time she needed. Keep her head down while heading back to HQ. Gotta report on that little encounter there - so that the next time she met up with them, she'd be ready. They'd be ready.
Because the alternative would be... chaos and anarchy reigning supreme.
